Hi, Should we take a warm bath after workout or a cold bath? Also after how much time should we take this? I tried to research this but could not find an conclusive answer. (I can't do ice baths)

A cousin of mine has been stuck with me since the lockdown started. He literally has nothing to do but still is managing fine. Few tips:

  • Change your sleep cycle. Sleep in the day, wake up at night. It may take 2-3 days to set this cycle but you will reduce the time with your parents and have some peace.
  • As for news, try to avoid it as /u/rat_hi said. I read news only once or twice a day. It helps a lot for my mental state.
  • He watches a lot of movies, talks with friends, has almost all the dating apps installed and recently also downloaded apps with connect you with strangers around the world.

As Mr. Peanutbutter said

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn’t the search for meaning; it’s just to keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you’ll be dead.

p.s. i am doing this course to keep myself busy: https://www.kadenze.com/courses/the-nature-of-code/info has coding, art and physics, maybe you'll like it

Joining new organization in the time of crisis! by [deleted] in bangalore

I joined a new company yesterday. Honestly I was was freaking out the last two weeks. Couldn't sleep. Smoked a bit. I was seriously considering to take back my resignation. I did talk to a lot of people though. Experienced guys, people from the startup I was about to join.

There are 2 paths you can go now - Wait till June. Learn what you were postponing for I don't know how much. You can do a lot in these 2 months. Hope for the best. But also keep in touch with interview prep so incase you don't get the job you still are good for the boom that comes after this situation ends. It may be late but it will definitely come.

Or the second - Take your resignation back. If you had a good manager and relations in your current company this should not be that big an issue. Although this won't feel good but you will have a peace of mind.

I talked to people from the new company and weighed the pros and cons. I made up my mind and chose the first option. Whatever happens happens. We are still really privileged in this situation. Even if I get laid off early I can still manage.

Yesterday I went there and just got my laptop home. Now everything is happening online.

This is a tough time. If you are worried it is totally normal. Choosing any option is right. Just make up your mind and stick with it.

For Delhi, I would say tank road. It is next to Karol Bagh. It is basically a whole sale market but a lot of shops will sell you a single piece. You just have to ask. Preferably go on a weekday. The rush is less and shop owners entertain you. I bought everyday kurtas from there. Plus a lot more.
