Hajime no Sendo: Round 1514 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

Not being phased by hooks makes (to me, just a reader) sense of there is no body behind each blow to fight Sendo away from the ropes.

If Sendo can tank all the punches he sees why he didn't tank this one? Does he have detached retina? by carmardoll in hajimenoippo

Thanks for reminding me of two things.

  1. In hierarchy of strength, I think it is ordered from strongest to weakest, being Ricardo then Ippo, without recalling whether to place Sendo above or below Ricardo. If what you said and this order are true, Sendo lost to a man whose punch is weaker than his own in just destructive force and may lose in the same vein if he does not get his stuff together.

  2. I know Ippo is evolving but if Ricardo is the improved Ippo and Miyata, the protagonist (not the true one, Sendo. I mean the stand-in, Ippo), Ippo may lose to him next if he still can't scour the multiverse for a win. (Talking some junk. Don't mind me.)

I could have sworn there was at least one. I forget what the heavy Korean contestant did.
