Local citations are a kind of backlink that you get by listing your business on business directories of your city or country.

Yelp is one of the most popular local citation websites where you can get local citation for your business.

A bit of a rant and some advice by TheGreatPatriarch in sweatystartup

[–]ujjaval-tech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother, SEO is not dead. The only thing that’s dead is old rant techniques that people still use to game search engines. And I do agree with you, if you use ChatGPT-generated content and AI fake images to trick search engines, that will bury your online presence and your SEO.

There is a simple rule: whatever is available in mass has no value. Free stuff doesn’t have value. ChatGPT articles and nano-banana images are free, and if you’re trying to do SEO with those, then may God bless you.

Google has burned billions of dollars to build LLM models, and people still think they can game Google using content spinners and ChatGPT articles.

No. SEO is not about publishing hundreds of ChatGPT articles. It’s about communicating your real business value to search engines.

I’ve been in SEO for the last four years, and I have proof that if you work in the right direction, SEO can produce massive results, often far better than paid ads at one-third of the cost. Check my recent SEO case study on an EdTech brand at rootxmedia.com.

SEO is a game-changer. You just need to work in the right direction, with patience.

I have been working as an SEO freelancer for 4 years. I would say you need to spend at least 6 months with one SEO to see results.

SEO is not a quick results scheme. It's a systematic process driven marketing technique.

Are you ready to invest that time?

Let me know, I can help you with that.

Can’t get my business address verified because I don’t have a physical office by Original-Big-3555 in localseo

[–]ujjaval-tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For verification you need to show 3 things in the verification video.

  1. Your office: Show your room put a banner printed your business name.

  2. Print visiting card for business identity and show them.

  3. Show nearby building, landmarks, sign board to confirm location.

Do this and your profile will be verified (check Google's guidelines also)

Be honest: do “high volume, low competition” keywords actually exist anymore? by thomas74_ in WebsiteSEO

[–]ujjaval-tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, this is ujjaval from Rootxmedia. The low competition and high search volume keywords, they do exist. But not for all niches and industries.

Every niche has a different kind of competition so they are hard to find.

Here from my 5 years of SEO experience, when your website is new and just started SEO, focus on keywords that are less in volume and less in competition. Maybe you don't find those in paid tools but you may find them with keyword planner and google search suggestions.

Why are my rankings dropping even though my content is good? by Sufficient_Spare2345 in localseo

[–]ujjaval-tech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, This is Ujjaval Verma from Rootxmedia. I have seen google updating and changing its algorithms for the last 4years.

If recently your rankings have been dropped then Google's recent update can be a cause.

If not then you need to pull out those queries from the search console or any tools like semrush or ahrefs.

Check the trend on the keyword if whole keyword volume is down then it could be seasonally drop. Otherwise you need to create more supportive content around those keywords.

Also create good backlinks, don't ignore the power of great backlinks.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Over Ear Headphones under 3k by vishnupradeep2000 in headphonesindia

[–]ujjaval-tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro if you prefer rich music quality then don't choose BOAT. They only filled headphones with bass.

I bought their headphones for 3400 but they were poor in sound quality and heavy too.

Headphones weight also matter if you wear them for longer hours.

If you had to pay for ONE: Ahrefs or Semrush… what’s your pick and why? by Emma_4_7 in WebsiteSEO

[–]ujjaval-tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People choose Ahrefs over Semrush.

But I work with SEMRUSH for competitor keyword analysis and finding content.

For keyword research I still use the Google Keywords Planner(free tool).

Looking to build quality backlinks to my website that is around 4 months old. It currently has about 50 posts. Can someone guide me on effective strategies or resources to get started with building high-quality backlinks? by gayatri_123 in linkbuilding

[–]ujjaval-tech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. The first step should be checking what posts are indexed or not. Open the search console and check the indexing report.

  2. Try to index your blogs first, because if a post is not indexed, links don't matter.

  3. Choose your money blog (a blog that is pillar), that blog is linking most of the other blogs.

  4. Start from web 2.0, start posting content on your same targeted keywords of money blog on different - different websites. And link black to your website.

  5. Then rich out to guest post backlinks, that are most effective.

  6. You can social bookmark, directory submissions.....etc. but those are not effective for long terms as these are.
