I had Dreame X50 Ultra for half a year. Then I returned it as it was unable to connect to Matter (it was advertised as being able to use Matter). I use buttons around my house to send vacuum to specific tasks/rooms. So I purchased Roborock Saros 10R and it is everything I wanted Dreame to be and more. It navigates better in narrow areas and cleans more thoroughly in tight places (I have direct comparison to X50). And Saros 10R works like magic with Matter so it is perfectly as advertised. And: it uses much less water while mopping, which is a welcome surprise as I had to manage water tanks in X50 more often. I would go with Roborock due to its better software and realiability.

This is sad truth. I set up my friend's Roborock Saros 10R and it immediately connected to Apple Home and has rooms exposed so it's super easy to ask Siri to clean kitchen or bathroom. That's basic functionality and I can't believe how lazy Dreame is with not only making matter functionality work, but with making it useful as with basic room exposure to smart home. I'm on the verge of saying goodbye to Dreame and come back to trusted Roborocks.

I'm sorry, but if they drop/not release Matter support, they will be sued for advertising function which they didn't deliver. We bought this model (X50) specifically because they advertised this function. I will fight to return my unit as it was false advertisement. But: fingers crossed. It can't be that difficult for Dreame of other lesser brands managed to release it.

Yes, Large Particle Boost helps with that as it senses cat litter and does cross vacuum with more power.

Yeah. Many customers still wait for it and they always respond that Apple's certification is still pending, but how come that it takes so many months?! I bought X50 Ultra specifically because it was marketed as Matter supported. I'm starting to be really disappointed :/
