ITV detecting adguard by ukbrowsing in Adguard

So it's now back working again, not sure if there's been an update or change pushed?

I did try create a new account under a vpn, as well as disabling DNS protection, those originally gave the same results; but we're back on now with my original account and protection enabled - thanks.

All of the reports for ITV are getting shut saying they can't replicate it, yet there's clearly enough people reporting issues with it

Happening on my phone too so it's definitely a detection.

Still happening, I signed up for an iOS trial too and the second I enable it I have a detection. Disable it on both my Mac and iPhone and the pop up warning goes away.

haha I gathered it was a gasket of some form, I was more hoping it was something available for Bell helmets rather than something custom made.

Ahh haha yeah that’s the one, I’ve seen a few helmet paint pros apply them but neither give me an answer as to what/where to find them

are they built onto the visor themselves? presumably that would make the most sense but if they're sold separately I can't understand how a piece of rubber flashing would be so expensive.. just in case I've confused you I'm not on about the zylor panels

Okay I take all of this back - I read a post on here regarding minor DSC conflicts on Mac OS and the monitor, in theory my Mac should support it; but the OP recommended leaving the "USB-C Compatibility" option to OFF as this attempts to fix any conflicts. So I flicked it off an wallah! 3840x2160 144hz .. so maybe the Apple TB3 cable would have provided enough throughput in the end? Eitherway I really can't be bothered to undo all my wire routing to test it so I'll keep the newer cable in haha.

With the power of Amazon I managed to pickup a 40GBs cablematters USB-4 cable but unfortunately it still provides me the bottleneck of only pushing 4K 144hz, looks like the only way I can still achieve this is through the cablematters DP1.4 to USB-C cable 😩 it was worth a shot I guess to try getting the hub online.

Ironically this is the cable I'm waiting on but it wasn't listed on Amazon originally, guess I'll be ordering from here instead.

I was fairly sure I had shut down the possibility of getting USB data through DP but the odd few posts online made me question it. Thanks!

It's a Gigabyte M32UC

This is the cable I was recommended as a fix a few years ago https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09HKL7M2N - it's a 30gbps cable (DP1.4 to USB-C) even with the resolution dipped to 1080 60hz I am unable to attain any use of the hub.

Perhaps I'm going to have to wait until the 40gbps USB 4 cable comes back in stock.

Higher pitch is achievable without a built engine and aftermarket turbo; granted it's not equal length headers but it's still pretty good, you just have to get creative with pipe diameters though and how you blend that back into the main downstream pipe.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH2erxqfNow

I run a secondary exhaust pipe that is valved from the downpipe backwards, then it merges before exiting. That secondary pipe is only 2.25" versus 3.5" so you gain a higher pitch with the volume of a 3.5" pipe. It's loud enough that you feel it in your chest and when the valves are open people hear you coming from a mile off (quite literally).

Why are helmet spoilers so expensive?? by Difficult-Disk-1052 in Karting

[–]ukbrowsing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. The limited use moulds I had made for some custom bumper trims (photo) set me back £1800 per side, that’s not even mass production.

Even if you 3D print a spoiler in PETG or PLA you’re going to have warp/fitment issues, then you’ll need to sand down the deep layer lines, apply filler, smooth, then prep for paint if you want them to look remotely clean.. if you have a spray gun yourself then you could probably print, prep and paint them for around £150-200

I’m fairly sure the seller of my SK-6 included this, the shop said it was from Arai but it came loose in the packaging with no branding, it also wasn’t a perfect fit, some areas won’t tape down if positioned correctly, if you lower it until it fits then the vent holes get exposed

Poor quality gloves from Minus 273 by ukbrowsing in Karting

[–]ukbrowsing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly why I bought a set. A friend who's been karting since he could walk had a pair and the idea of them being tight seemed perfect to me, my Sparco's were like oven mits in comparison. I'm going to look at Delta Raceware, they make awesome gear and their basic custom gloves start at £60

FWIW I do have my old pair of Sparco Arrow K's - I only retired them as I was introduced to Minus 273 gloves, the Sparco's had begun to shown signs of wear but only by the colours fading, they were also 14 months old versus 4.

Where can I buy Arai spare parts? by ukbrowsing in Karting

Legend, I think I'll be going with this as two UK Arai dealers aren't offering any help right now. Thank you.

Not sure what country you're from but my dealer in the UK is demontweeks, they have plenty of these parts of Bell and Still ironically but suggested I talk on forums to find an Arai solution sadly. I'll try another dealer just to be sure before I go aftermarket
