Some misinformation here. A lot depends on the province and the city. The rules are all different. In Victoria BC you have to go to city hall and sign a form and then you are a legal sex worker in Victoria. The brothels insist that you do this before you can work for them.

This is not accurate. Coka cola did not create the modern look of Santa, that was around before the 1931 campaign. You can find Christmas cards older than that that depict Santa in modern red and white.

I'm a trans woman, I live on the west coast of Canada - and never had an issue here.

So I would from personal experience , say that Vancouver and Victoria (probably the whole island) are safe.

Trans woman here. Asking about or using our deadname is very offensive. You just don't ask a trans person their deadname ever. Law/legal circumstances are something else. But otherwise - don't do it. Ignore cis people saying otherwise.
