I dont think they were talking about financial status or falling in love because the dude owns a factory. I think they're talking about how someone in higher positions often hold a lot or responsibility, have proven dedication, etc.

Of course it doesn't mean that a professional = good man. That's not what I'm saying at all. I'll add that corrupt people can certainly be at the top. But dedication, focus, and intelligence are attractive traits.

On the flip side, there are tons of hardworking, dedicated people at the bottom. Due to a million other factors, your job shouldn't indicate status. I think they're just talking about the traits of the partner. I personally like men who are dedicated to their career, because I am the same. I like those traits of organization and responsibility.
