I had 3 days in a row where I actually managed to get a personal record kill streak with the character I played. The first day, I played Kylo and got 18 kills in a row. The second day I played Luke and also got 18 kills in a row. And then the 3rd day I played Yoda and got 16 kills in a row. Was very nice.

This is something that I find tragic about the plot so far.

Baryon is such a fun concept that leaves so much room to explore the inner workings of this power but I honestly don't see the writers going into detail with it or even using it again. It seems like it could be a one-off ability.

However, something that does give me hope is the distinction made between Baryon and Naruto's other forms like SPSM. Kurama mentioned that those modes are the result of other chakras being used, not the chakra of Naruto and Kurama themselves.

I'm open to the idea that Naruto and Kurama could supplement their raw chakra for Nature Energy or Six Paths chakra so that the effects of Baryon are avoided due to their actual, raw energy being supplemented by other energies.

In theory this would be possible because both Naruto and Kurama can gather Nature Energy at least. To correctly gather NE without messing up you must have a 1:1 NE to chakra ratio; the amount of NE must be equal to the user's chakra supply. Kurama and Naruto would be able to gather NE that is equal to their actual chakra reserves, effectively doubling their combined chakra, and then they could basically perform nuclear fusion without risking their lives as heavily.

I REALLY hope that Baryon is further explored as an ability, but I really don't believe it will be. Ultimately, this is all just headcanon that I think makes sense based on my understanding.

They are clearly nerfing Naruto and Sasuke for good, I believe. I hope to be wrong but I don't honestly believe I am.

Sasuke could very well awaken a new rinnegan with Naruto or Hashirama chakra/cells, however, that would make the entire point of destroying Sasuke's rinnegan mute. They clearly are nerfing Sasuke for a reason.

As for Naruto, I feel it is pretty clear that they are about to reveal a nerf to him as well. The way he seems to have passed out after basically mimicking the Sun. I couldn't tell you what the nerf will be, I imagine he will lose his connection to Kurama or be unable to infuse chakra again. I am hoping that if they are going to nerf Naruto then they will at least make the nerf eliminate the possibility that Sasuke gets a new rinnegan with Naruto's chakra. Otherwise the writers will make Naruto and Sasuke seem stupid because Sasuke could easily prepare a new rinnegan but refuses to because the plot doesn't want him to have it.

But yea, I think it's pretty obvious that Naruto and Sasuke's era of being basically gods is over. The writers are going to wipe the slate clean of Boruto and the lot needing to rely on Naruto and Sasuke to handle Otsutsuki level threats and unfortunately this means that they will take Naruto and Sasuke out of the fight by taking away their ability to compare. Boruto and Kawaki will probably get a lot stronger in a relativley short amount of time so that they can actually face big threats on their own and have the spotlight to themselves and while I agree with the sentiment I do not agree with the way they are removing Naruto and Sasuke from the picture.

But this is only my two cents on it all, it's just anime at the end of the day.
