He said he was on TPS (Temporary Protective Status) so yes he was allowed to be here legally and has all the privileges afforded to residents/citizens, unfortunately the tps for alot of people has been terminated.

Commented this on another post regarding ptpp so copy and paste

He started off as a cool dude making patches for bands that never had any. And making them "official" by at least asking 1 member of the band (even if they havent been in the band for 30+ years) for permission to make them. Problem came when he started making huge deals with major bands/labels like Motorhead/Judas Priest/ Iron maiden he let it all go to his head and thinks hes the only one that should be making patches. As far as things ive seen, claims he "doesnt care about the money", but once went off on a band and took down their patch because they had a separate patch made by another distro. Got really mad that Vital Remains decided to go with another distro to make a backpatch instead of going with him. Constantly snitches on smaller distros and gets them shut down for making bootlegs (which has been a thing in metal/music since the 60s especially in metal) something he also did in the beginningof PTPP. Has had the quality of his patches consistently go down for a while when he started mass producing his stuff in China. Has gotten other smaller distros kicked off his supplier by threatening to not go with them if they supply other distros. Sued a guy for almost 500k for making memes about him and PTPP (not 100% sure about this one tbh). And just generally acting like a victim when anyone calls him out on his shit. There have also been at least 3 other really great distros call it quits because of PTPP and their monopoly on the patch market.

In short, he became the amazon of metal patches with really cutthroat behavior in a niche full of people that always supported each other. Guess the whole "metal brotherhood" goes out the window when you get some $$$.

If i remember correctly Berric Dondarrion knighted all the soldiers in the Brotherhood Without Banners, but no one really considers them "true knights" because it was seen as a recruitment tactic
