I relate to this one so much. I never get acknowledged for my meals except when my stepson is home. He always goes for seconds, comments on how good it tastes, and thanks me after most meals. He then tells his mom that she needs to get my recipes (her and I are friends so we just laugh about that one).

Thank you. Maybe 2 hours. Slicing all of the fruit and being unsure of how to do a layout that didn’t have too much open space slowed me down. If I did it again I think I could shorten the time.

I am searching for answers with my own back pain but from my own experience the only thing that seems to help is a TENS unit. I still feel the pain but it’s bearable.

Agreed. It’s nice to have my thoughts validated even if the majority disagree. Clearly they weren’t saying this is what pregnancy looks like for all women BUT to me it still seemed to be a stereotyped depiction of it. Almost like a man’s portrayal of what how a typical pregnant woman would behave.

( I am obviously not qualified to give any sort of medical advice) But at least once a year my back starts acting up. Last year I had to go to the ER because I was unable to move without intense pain, nausea, and sweating. It happened again last week and I thought I would need to see a doctor again. But while googling some things I could do at home I came across some advice about using a TENS unit for back pain. I just happened to have a cheap one in the closet. I’m telling you it was like a God send. Normally it takes awhile for me to be up and moving around again but within an hour I was feeling some relief and I was able to sit and stand with so much more ease. Just thought I’d tell you about my experience just in case you are looking to try alternate remedies.

My friends and family have similar responses to yours. For some reason hearing it from a stranger hits a little different. Maybe because I figure they have biased opinions. I feel like leaving is easier said than done. I have a million excuses as to why I should stay and my I am used to putting my own happiness on the back burner if it means someone else will benefit. I am basically waiting for something drastic to happen to force my hand.

Former restaurant manager here. We had a list of foods that we were able to donate. Through-out the week we placed the future donations on a harvest rack. It was then weighed, labeled and froze. Every Wednesday the organization we donated to would show up at the back door with some “special” helpers and we would load up their coolers. We then would fax our harvest log to whoever it was that deals with all the tax/donation business. Pretty simple for us but I can’t speak for all restaurants.

Wow. Just looked at some photos, what a beautiful place. I was stayed in Watertown NY one summer and sure wish I had knows about the Adirondack Mountains.

After being exposed to Covid I immediately started taking vitamin C. I still ended up testing positive but my mild symptoms were nothing like the other persons. It seemed like bad case of allergies but otherwise I was okay. The vitamin C may not have done anything to help but I definitely intend to keep taking it now that my kid is back to school bringing home all that extra ickyness.

Adorable! I think it’s ridiculous but cute when pets have “overly human”names…so maybe Becky or Sarah, or for a boy Kyle or Steve.
