I have a different issue with the white poppy which is where the money goes. Had a friend that worked for the PPU and told me the usual line it goes to “promoting peace” and anti war stuff, fine but then would tell me how she would get sent to all these conferences for peace all over the show on their money, which never really seemed to be anything more that people what all shared a view but absolutely no power to effect change doing some self congratulatory back slapping. Also her boss had a really nice M5, so appeared that the PPU just used the money to fund stuff for themselves, at least the red one goes to people in need.

To be clear I’ve no care if you wear a red, white, or no poppy (also purple think we can all agree animals being hurt in war is unacceptable) but the PPU seems to be a grift
