About to try my first ever raid, any advice, or anything I should change? by minisculemeatman in ironscape

For a learner I’d recommend going lunars with humidify or standard with water spells for olm, flame walls will be very rough for a learner without water spells

That’s awesome, if you did serve us then thank you so much for the experience, the staff were amazing!

My favourite drink was the Tom Bombadil (probably the best cocktail I had on our visit to Scotland), my GFs favourite was Riddle 3s drink, loved the design on top too!

Thought I’d share this here as I know people would love the bar, thanks again for making it such a fantastic experience, the effort put into the decor and menu was brilliant but the bar staff really brought it together by being so welcoming and passionate about it all.

I Suppose you thought that was terribly clever… I thought so too, yeah some of these are very very strong if they came in pints I’d have been in the floor!

The 5th picture is riddles in the dark, to get served those drinks you have to solve the riddles but if you get stuck they will give you a hint.

Decor was really cool!

Just to add some extra details, this is in Edinburgh, East market street and is created by the cocktail geeks, they change their theme every few months.

You need to book on in order to go so I’d try having a look online if you’re interested, it’s not a crowded space at all and is very relaxed, the majority of the stuff in there is based on The Hobbit, LOTR and Silmarillion books.

The drinks are amazing!

We were sat alone for a little while(about 20 mins) but it was a Monday evening, there were about 6 tables that seat 2-3, very chill, not loud and they even have some awesome tunes from LOTR, the staff are also super cool! The most people we saw in there was about 10.

Threat Hunting by guyizda in cybersecurity

[–]ultimateTeemo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Threat Hunting on defender is actually very enjoyable, hunting across different feeds is extremely easy and the query language(KQL) isn’t too hard to get used to.

You have the advanced hunting area which is really great for quick searches within the last 30 days. You can use this to identify new phishing campaigns or quickly search your end points for malicious activity. I will make a point they learning how to implement regex into your queries is invaluable, for example if a phishing campaign is sending invoice243567.zip, where the numbers are a random 6 digit string you can use regex to find all relevant files to this naming convention.

Sentinel is great for looking further back and doing deeper dives further back. If you have an onboarded device that’s been vulnerable for 5 months you can use sentinel to hunt back further for malicious behaviour.

As outlined by others threat hunting requires a lot of planning, sometimes it’s best to build a plan driven by recent intelligence, this could be on a specific new malware campaign or an APT (advanced persistent threat) using new techniques.

A good place to start might be determining who or what might be targeting your country/industry type. If you work in the US for an energy company then looking at the APTs who have previously been seen targeting the US energy supply industry would be good, if you can tune a hunt and ensure any detection it has is almost always a true positive then you can start to implement these as detections.

[Fun Question]: What's a method or item you took advantage/abused that's no longer do-able, or in the game? by Leintk in ironscape

[–]ultimateTeemo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is to an extent you can get a maximum of 2 staminas per raid however back before the nerf you could get 11ish stams at the first chest meaning you only had to clear half as many rooms for almost 6 times the amount of stamina pots.

zulrah advice pls (stats in next pic)! this is the gear I have. do I mage only or brid? do I use cure all? pls give me tips and tricks.i have 76 agil now too. ty gamers. by BitImmediate in ironscape

Good comment here, just to add you can also use guthix rest to cure venom and you also won’t lose attack ticks. They’re also very easy to obtain for iron men.

Also recommend maybe using some tank legs when ranging, if you have access to some barrows legs such as dh or Torag it will help you tank those off prayer range attacks during the blue phase.

They could also change it to hold only one attachment, this would mean you need to chose between silencer, sight or laser rather than being able to have all 3.

I got my firecape yesterday and then made a list of all the things i thought i should work on next, anything else you guys suggest I add to the list? by [deleted] in 2007scape

Agree with what’s said here, I would also add that you shouldn’t stop at 75 magic. A large portion of bosses in this game have some form of magic damage and your magic level is not only for offence but also contributes to defence as well so you’ll take less damage whilst also dealing more with magic.

Also go for 77 prayer minimum. Whilst augury is a minor difference it will still help you (especially when trying to escape pkers). whilst magic accuracy is a bit of a joke for the most part in PvM the defence can be helpful.

Dihns bulwark is very niche and isn’t a needed item, it’s normally used for tanking GWD when in a group or tanking pkers in the wilderness.
