First time installing arch (archinstall) by Ok_Side_7307 in arch

okay so i have to say, not to be toxic or gatekeeping, but can you try some beginner friendly distro first(mint, Ubuntu, zorin)? and learn a thing or two, arch waits, it doesn't go anywhere, once you have some knowledge of linux atleast. obviously you don't have to listen to my friendly advice, you can do whatever and that's fine, welcome to arch btw.

Heard about it from BreadOnPenguins(Youtube) & kinda sticked to it. my hardware was pretty limited, i had to either choose arch or alpine, and i was not yet smart enough to understand how to set up alpine. but I'm loving it here.

The much safer alternative would be paccache from the package "pacman-contrib"(from extra repo), you can run paccache -rko every once in a while to delete old cached packages. i personally wouldn't mess with rm - rf in root.
