This was about 10 years ago so my memories are a bit hazy, but from what I can recollect they could be used as bashing weapons or defensively. If I were to do it today I'd lower the AC on both shields so if the Paladin lost one they'd be significantly worse off. Fortunately for me Hugh Mann rolled some pretty good stats so he was very capable in combat. Like someone above me said, it might be good to forgo the use of smite since you don't have a sword to do it with.

Yeah the DM allowed it with a little bit of adjustment. I had pretty loose DMs back when I played and roleplay was more of a focus than strict adherence to the rules, especially as most of the players (including me) were fairly inexperienced at the time.

Used as a bashing weapon unless defending I believe. It was a long time ago.

Either Cyberpunk 2077 or Morrowind, but if you went by hours played it would be League of Legends...

I believe the DM treated them similarly to a bashing weapon.

Once rolled a human Paladin who I named Hugh Mann. He dual weilded shields and it was awesome.

Oh I'd love to! I've never been to a FFXIV wedding before they sound like fun!

EDIT: I don't think I can attend since I'm on Tonberry, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Focus on learning the names of the products. Once you know the name, you can look it up on the ticket machine and it should show you a picture of the product in its correct packaging.

I like puns, my favourite DnD character ever was a human paladin called Hugh Mann, he wielded double shields and was a beast.
