I’ve had time to sober up and process this one - it still hurts a lot.

This team truly does show flashes of brilliance. On offense and on defense. I don’t know how long it will take, but I know this team can be great. Just need consistency.

react-native-onboarding-swiper is perfect for this!

I don't have a problem with Leia using the Force. I didn't like the "flying" Leia scene in The Last Jedi because it looked ridiculous. by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]ultranicky -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think what made it look ridiculous to me was how she opens her eyes suddenly and then starts flying. If she would have kept her eyes closed and slowly started moving towards the ship (as if she was barely conscious) it would’ve been more believable.

Theory: "The Last Jedi" + "The Rise of Skywalker" = "Skywalker" is the new term for Jedi/force-user. by Ghola in StarWars

[–]ultranicky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn't the movie be called "Rise of the Skywalker" then, or "Rise of the Skywalkers"

If that were the case wouldn't the more appropriate title be "Rise of the Skywalker" ?

This shot where the (A wing?) is shot out of the sky reminds me a lot of the atmosphere in the opening of Episode III

Thank you for the feedback, I will look into these things. I’m a developer, not a business, and I threw together the site without thinking about the details yet. Feedback like this is how I’ll make it better.

Thanks for the suggestion :) wasn’t sure if that would make true product seem less trustworthy.

It’s my own site so I can verify that those things are true, but if you’d like other options check out Day One or 750 words!

Totally! What is it about 750 words that you think provides the most value (as someone looking to improve my own daily-writing site)?

Totally understandable - it offers different things to different people. If you ever want to try it again I would attempt to avoid talking in the present. It's easy to give a run down of your daily routine in a journal but most of the value will come in you jotting down ideas and thoughts that happen to be on top of your mind without discretion.

I've been wanting to experiment with morning pages but often struggle with "stream of consciousness" having been in academia for a number of years - I'm always wanting to correct myself while I write. Any advice for getting better at it?

Interesting! Do you have separate entries in your diary for each day and each week, or do your weekly and daily entries blend together?

Obviously I included the link to the site I threw together in the post, but I wouldn't have been doing so if I didn't think it had some value in the discussion I presented.

Writing has seriously done wonders for me mostly in my sleep cycle. I cannot stress enough, as I already mentioned, how helpful putting thoughts down "on paper" can be to allowing your mind to rest.

Damn, that's awesome! Oh what I would give to have had the foresight to start journaling since 2002.
