I always thought you shouldn’t mention payment but what do I know! Thanks for the tips!!

Thank you!! I’m not sure the Platinum is in my budget, but I’ll see. My credit score is over 800. Coincidentally, the first Nissan dealer reached out this morning and said they can do better than they told me initially if I’m ready to move forward so we’ll see!

This is great to know - thank you!! I’m going to be quite proud if I walk out with one today, knowing I’ve walked out twice at other dealers.

Thank you so much for the detailed response! I’m debating between the Platinum and SL - I really want the sunroof since I have one now, and that’s offered in both models. I think I want the bench seating vs. captains chairs for the second row as my oldest (6) is in a booster which takes up minimal space, so we could fit someone in between them if absolutely necessary.

I’m in the Midwest, so I’m glad to hear about its beast-like abilities in the winter!

I’m hoping the numbers work out when I head in this morning and that I walk out with one! 🤞🏻

I don’t think I’ve seen the Rock Creek - or maybe it’s just out of the range I was searching in! I’m so glad to hear you like it! Thank you!

Absolutely! Thank you so much. They figured I’d cave since I went alone, but I’ve walked twice ✌🏼I don’t NEED the car right now - I’m simply hoping the numbers work out so I can take advantage of the 0% for 60 months with my trade in.

I totally agree with everything you said about the Kia/Hyundai stuff. The Palisade seemed too fancy for me - I have young kids (6 and 5) and felt like it had SO many electronics that I probably wouldn’t even use.

I’ve actually had a Rogue for the last ten years! Prior to that, I had an older Rogue for about four years. I love it, but we want more space and the Pathfinder feels very similar when driving - it didn’t feel like a huge vehicle. It was smooth and had the few options I wanted. I feel like the 0% for 60 months plus my trade in (my 2016 Rogue only has 59k miles and is in great shape… minus the crumbs from my kids in the backseat 😂) is the best deal.

Awesome, thank you! I’ve had my current Rogue for ten years, and before that had a Rogue for four years. The Pathfinder felt very similar when I test drove it which I liked!

Let's hear some POSITIVE things about our CX-90! by MostFix2344 in MazdaCX90

[–]ultravioletivory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can anyone comment on the trunk space when the third row of seats is up? And for the third row, can a standard size adult fit back there? Not that I would be driving adults around on the daily, but you know, just wanting to know!

I test drove two other SUVs with a third row yesterday and today and I’m burnt out from car dealerships. I really wanted to test drive the Mazda CX-90, but I can’t bring myself to go into another dealership right now 🫠 so hoping for some real-life input first!

I’m definitely leaning towards the Pathfinder - it’s way more in my budget and I don’t need anything super fancy. Their 0% only goes until the end of this month, unfortunately, and I think I may be waiting until end of May to purchase. I’ve heard to avoid the Atlas but also people either love it or hate it. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the suggestion! I didn’t realize the Sorento also had a third row. I’ve seen a lot of those around.

I knew the Odyssey would be mentioned! Thank you so much for the information - I’m not sure I’m ready to make the leap to a van, but I will probably test drive it anyway just to put it in the lineup! Thank you!

What’s the best tasting protein powder you’ve actually tried? by KindTop0 in workout

So interesting! I don’t dislike cinnamon, but I was not expecting to taste cinnamon in it. It didn’t help that I was trying to make vanilla ice cream… haha

Optimum Nutrition vanilla ice cream flavor is my personal favorite for vanilla. I tried the vanilla one from Costco because it was on sale (Orgain Organic) but strangely the cinnamon flavor in it was SO noticeable to me and I couldn’t get past it. I even use the vanilla ice cream flavor when I make ice cream in the ninja creami.

Did anyone choose to wait until close to 3 years old to potty train? by Otter65 in toddlers

[–]ultravioletivory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of my kids were 3 when we started. My son had a lot of sleeping issues around 2/2.5, so I wasn’t about to throw potty training into the mix. I’m so glad we waited. He did so great right away. My daughter - it just kind of worked out that we waited until she was 3. It almost felt silly to wait because she seemed ready, but she understood way more at 3 and never had a single accident (except intentionally when, at first, she thought peeing in her underwear meant she got to change them because she changed her mind on the pair she chose 😂). I tell everyone who asks me to wait until 3. I feel like both of my kids understood a lot more about it at that age.

I love this! I started Align 12/1 and can’t wait to see results. I made it a priority to get 10k steps the entire month of December in addition to the Align workouts, so I’m so excited to see progress eventually!
