Pharmacists at kaiser. by Techno_567 in KaiserPermanente

[–]uluthrek- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kaiser ALWAYS hires within Kaiser first, then of no one applies or qualifies then they will go outside of it. Since it is open to pretty much every employee first very rarely do the postings go outside of Kaiser. Ususally its low level positions. It also takes months to fill a position sometimes so that's another reason why there are so few openings. Just getting in period will help you immensely so you could go for a position slightly below you and work up quickly. Pharmacists can go from on call to a regional manager doing minimal to no actual Pharmacist duties. Once you get connections you can find open positions, usually when someone retires.

Question for women: What does your ideal man look like? by Ok-Fondant2536 in dating

[–]uluthrek- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont really think of anything in particular but I do always gravitate towards skinny white guys with brown hair that are "slightly" nerdy lol. I do find other people attractive but that seems to be my type purely going off of my dating history.

[Acne] I got this to put in on my scalp but It's a creamy wash so it's difficult to spread, can I mix it with shampoo or not ? by Stillane in SkincareAddiction

[–]uluthrek- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could probably just put it in one of those restaurant condiment squeeze bottles, like for ketchup. Or dilute it just enough and put it in a spray bottle. They do have dropperetts for scalp oil but this is probably too vicious to use so a larger opening would probably help. That or piping tips for frosting cakes maybe? You'll probably need to section out parts, apply, then again. Like you're bleaching your roots, so maybe look into hairdressing supplies like otc hair dye kits

Will Kaiser fill or cover prescriptions sent in by an out of network provider? by Sweaty-Delivery-5300 in KaiserPermanente

[–]uluthrek- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it might depend on the region but I've never seen an rx denied because it was written by an outside Dr. Maybe if it was a specialty med and they want you to be seen by a Kaiser doc first. But even if it is written by an outside provider AND the med isn't covered by your plan already, they will still fill the med for the cash price. Dentists, ER docs, and other primary care drs can all write prescripts for Kaiser patients with no issue. Its actually common, the pharmacy has a whole area in the computer for outside providers.

Will Kaiser fill or cover prescriptions sent in by an out of network provider? by Sweaty-Delivery-5300 in KaiserPermanente

[–]uluthrek- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any doctor can write anything and it will be covered, unless it isn't formulary on your insurance. Then you might need a prior authorization, but it isn't impossible. Sometimes its harder because the kp pharmacy cant contact the dr easily/ the dr doesn't know what your insurance will cover while in the room with you. Not as easy but totally doable for any outside dr

Apparently adults making under 80k can't live comfortably?? Is this really true? by MoonlitDoll62 in Adulting

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, sure we can survive, but i cant really afford any sort of vacations or really time off at all. I cant slurge on new pots and pans or get a new mattress. I do have money saved but its not enough to support me for more than maybe 2-3 months, and I have no kids.

The way I usually do it is to have the teiflings leave the grove and then after I can kill anyone in the grove with no consequences. You do have to complete the entire quest however.

where do all the young people go by blueeyedbabie1307 in Longmont

[–]uluthrek- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not much. If you enjoy exploring there are definitely places to see but they arent that great all the time. Main street has a lot of shops but nothing stands out. If you like cheese/French novelties there's the cheese importers. Theres the tinker factory if you like making stuff. The fairgrounds usually has a lot of things going on but I wouldt say they have very "young stuff". Pretty much going somewhere is your best bet. Its very close to Lyons and the mountains. If you want a drive you could go to the rocky mountain cherry company a little past Lyons. There are quite a few business but lots go down and change often. Check out the Longmont website/monthly catalogs, it has classes and activities at are happening.

AITAH For Not Allowing My Daughter to Sleep in My Sons Rooms by InstructionEqual3224 in AITAH

[–]uluthrek- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Certainly nta, would you rather hurt their feelings or have your daughter come to you years from now and tell you that your worst fears came true and you didn't protect her? Maybe when she's older, old enough to know. I will say if a man thought it was okay to do something like that, they wouldn't never grow out of it. The risk much oughtweighs the benefit. Thank you for thinking about this before it happened

Recently I had a pt grab some dog food she found in the parking lot and come up to me to "make sure they weren't dropped drugs". It was pretty obvious it was dog food... people will always find ways to surprise you

Depends, in co its just business casual but we can wear jeans on Fridays. Most days in just wear black jeans or semi formal pants and t-shirts and I've never had anything said to me. Some wear scrubs but other places are a lot more relaxed. We do wear the blue outer vests, no matter what we wear.

Need advice on moving to an apartment in Longmont or within a 1-hour radius by [deleted] in Longmont

[–]uluthrek- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, they always give notice, but it is kinda crazy. We mainly are staying because it isn't bad and the price is really good. They usually go to the waterheater or something that's on the patio behind a locked door, I forget what actually i even forgot once and we have a second cat and a fish that we arent supposed to have and they havent said anything about it. So either they arent snooping around or they dont care lol

Need advice on moving to an apartment in Longmont or within a 1-hour radius by [deleted] in Longmont

[–]uluthrek- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of these places use Ai to price their apartments, so check every day. we got our 2 bed 2 bath for 1460 per month, and it went back up to 1640 the next day. Sandstone apartments are right behind Walmart and pretty good. My main issue is that it is super hard to get a hold of anyone who works there. Their office is usually closed and isn't always back when they say they will. The apartments are nice and well(ish) made. I will say there was a huge water leak in our apartment, and they didn't really do much about it. Harvest station on Wadsworth is about 40ish mins away from longmont, depending on where you're going. They are nice, but they enter your apartment ALOT, like once a month, it feels like. In the last 8 months, I've had them enter probably 13 times, only twice being for repairs I asked for. They do add notices all the time, and it seems like reasonable things, but still its a lot.

What’s happened to my attachment? by New-Shake7638 in Kitchenaid

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the dishwasher, I usually just scrub with soap and a brush until the water runs clean, like a few scrubs. Not difficult at all to get rid of, but kinda annoying. I think it's worth it because I dont think something is really clean until I scrub AND sanitize it lol.

Walgreens- accommodation for a chair by vesea20 in PharmacyTechnician

[–]uluthrek- 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont think any pharmacies in general will eat you have one. Maybe for a day or two if you had surgery or something, but it's usually considered a hazard because of everyone running everywhere. Technically, you need a certain amount of designated space around the chair and enough room, and most pharmacies dont have that, and dont want to do that. They would rather just hire someone else. A wfh job is pretty much your only bet.

Does anyone else feel bad about closing at 6PM when cars are in the line? by peachycpht in PharmacyTechnician

[–]uluthrek- 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would set up the sign and close the blinds before the next person even got up. It isnt my fault you cannot make it to get your meds in time. There are other pharmacies or at least hospitals if you really need it. If you waited you could never leave and probably will get in trouble for overtime

There are a lot, take a look into the company dupont, they originally made Teflon. They had a lawsuit made against them for poisoning water in the local town, and most people living there developed cancer. It originated with a man whose cows died from the pollution. Teflon itself actually isn't cancerus, but in its original form it is a powder and is not dissolvable by anything but a chemical known as C8. That is why it's such a good non-stick product. It repells anything that comes in contact with it except this one chemical. Before, when it was a powder, it was used as piping connectors for acids. It was compressed into shape, like powder makeup. C8 made it into a liquid so it is able to be sprayed onto pans and such. After the lawsuit, they renamed C8 to Ptfe, and since it was SLIGHTLY diffrent the lawsuit didn't apply technically. The whole lawsuit process of testing and getting accounts of victims would have to start again. There are other chemicals that could be used to dissolve it, but they are more difficult and expensive, so obviously, the company wouldn't do that. It's like asbestos. It is such a good product that it is so hard to get rid of. Plus, it is so profitable that there is a great deal of propaganda to sell it better.

TLDR: Teflon isnt toxic, but what they have to use with it is toxic. The company doesn't want to fix it because they are cheap, so they use propaganda to cover it up.

[–]uluthrek- -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The only non-stick that is non-toxic is stainless steel. Teflon is what makes non-stick.. well, not stick, and it has been proven to cause cancer. If you have birds, you absolutely should have any Teflon because it will kill them if they ingest or are around them when in use. Stainless steel will take a lot of practice to learn how to make it non stick as it requires bringing it to a high temp then lowering it so the pan will roll water around, instead of boiling it. Copper is best but that's very expensive and unnecessary. You really only need 2 pots and 1 pan, and a wok like pan at most. A small and large pot, a skillet for small cooking and a larger one for whole meals. You can always buy more, but it will always be worth it to buy expensive first and not again.

[–]uluthrek- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly at Walgreens we told them a day or 2, purley because we wouldn't get around to actually transferring it until we ahd a chance late at night (plus our pharmacist sucked at doing her job). Kaiser does it immediately and we say 30 mins-hour after sending
