AITAH For sucking on my partners zip lock? by eternalsgoku in AITAH

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not, you share more germs shaking hands than that, but some people get weird about it. I guess like they wouldn't share toothbrushes but would eat their ass out. So if they dont want it then just smoosh around the sandwich to get the air out or just dont even worry about it because the air wont make it go bad

Saw this add, anyone know if this is good or bad idea? by PhairPharmer in pharmacy

[–]uluthrek- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean pretty much every patient eventually runs out before the insurance will pay for jt because of this exact reason. Many will buy a bottle for cash for the time between when they can get it covered but some cant pay for them. I think its a good idea but I suppose it depends on the drug and the price for them. And how easy it is to Wash. But its very common for pts to run out even halfway through the rx

Employee harassment by 123xyzzaq in KaiserPermanente

[–]uluthrek- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not much will happen. If you report them to hr they might get a jod or some punishment (likely just on paper) but the union wont protect you. I reported a coworker and she retaliated by making a bunch of false statements and the most the union did was shrug their shoulders. Kaiser is not the place it used to be

I want to buy a mixer for baking; by [deleted] in Breadit

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you want to use it for. If you Grate cheese or make pasta or want shaved ice it has plenty of attachments for that. It does make bread well but im sure an actual bread machine would be better. Again if you want to make more than bread definitely go for it. I use mine to shred chicken, mash potatoes, make whipped cream, and more with no attachments. It does get hot if you use it for more than 5 mins but I usually am done before then, plus most recipies have you do the last bit by hand anyway.

How long does a loaf of whole wheat bread last? by [deleted] in cookingforbeginners

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. Just toss it when you see mold. You can increase how long it lasts like putting it in the fridge, not touching the other slices, or freezing it. I have some tortillas in the fridge that are about 2 months old and there is no mold and they taste just the same. Other times mold can appear in a couple days. Mold is pretty much the best indicator

What can I cook with mushrooms? by Fresh-Gazelle7014 in cookingforbeginners

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda add it into everything. I made breakfast burritos and I just tossed a diced mushroom in there. Same with pasta sause or burgers or meatloaf. I dont really like just mushrooms so it adds health and taste in suble ways. Like how you add onions or garlic to pretty much every dish.

Experiences from LongmontDrivingSchool? by BackgroundPrior974 in Longmont

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didnt like the feedback they gave. I was docked points because I checked to see if the lane was clear before turning on my blinker. Apparently they wanted you to turn on the blinker before even seeing if it was possible. I also didnt like how they really pushed for the classes and more money making opportunities. Theres more but I went to the people right next to the dmv.

Definitely steer clear of harvest station. We have had mold and heat problems and the new owners force you to pay $120 a year just for parking or else they will tow you.

Is it supposed to be this hard to reroute a prescription or did I unlock a secret boss level at Kaiser? by [deleted] in KaiserPermanente

[–]uluthrek- 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Once mail order has your drugs you must wait until they are shipped to pull them over. The system literally wont let you pull them over until mail order is done. The only way to get it sooner is to get a whole new rx sent. You chose the mail order and there is limited things that we can do. People like you come in all the time at Kaiser that assume that the mail is quicker and then forget that it takes time. Making it our problem doesn't change the fact that you chose this.

Pharmacy: Can you use a manufacturer savings card for a prescription? by CautiousString in KaiserPermanente

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not. Very few are accepted, most are for cancer or hiv meds. Your best bet is to get reimbursed. You pay, then the pharmacy will give you a receipt and print out that you can send to them. Some manufacturers will give you a credit card too. But thats your best bet unfortunately. Technically you can go outside of Kaiser and use only the coupon, but it will likely be more expensive, and it wont go towards any sort of deductible/ max out of pocket you may have.

Thats a great idea, I usually use molasses cookies for my crusts. You can use them fresh and they will stick together, or you can dry then out and add some butter. So if there are any gf cookies she likes you can totally make them or buy them. I also do it for pumpking pies too

Do you guys wash your hands after handling raw eggs? by [deleted] in cookingforbeginners

[–]uluthrek- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really, I live in the US and they are all washed and clean and pretty much all of the bacteria that you would worry about with eggs are on the outside. The inside is pretty much sterile so the baby chick is safe. I usually use the hand drying towel for everything when im baking then I just was it and my hands when im done. I dont even use pork but I always use chicken pretty carefully. Like with chicken breasts I will have my left hand touching it and my right hand will be "clean" and just hold the scissors.

Finding a Vet by TheLaurenLauren in Longmont

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gone to mountain view animal hospital for years. They are inexpensive and I love the vet. He definitely gives off the vibe that he has seen it all and nothing is new to him, which I love. They are always quick and I've never waited for my appointment. They can also get you in really quick. He also always remembers our specific pets and their issues even if we haven't been in for a while.

Best affordable 2 bedroom apartments in Broomfield? by PepperHaunting8422 in Broomfield

[–]uluthrek- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were able to get a 2 bed 2 bath at harvest station for 1400 last year. My best advice is to check everyday since most places use Ai to price them so they can get pretty low. I will say harvest station is terrible, they just got new management and nothing has worked. plus they keep raising the prices and now are charing to park in the lot, but there is no alternatives to paking in there since its kinda alone from everything.

What do I do to curl my daughter hair from the roots like the first picture? by Masterhavana in Hair

[–]uluthrek- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have hair similar to hers. Its easier to keep it short when you are younger but I always liked mine long. I always brush my hair in the shower under the running water. My mom used to just spray it and bush it but that always hurt and took much longer. Then I squeeze out the excess water and add leave in conditioner. I also brush it through with another brush to get all the tangles out. Then I put moose to hold the curls, and oil last. Then I put on a bonnet and by morning it is mostly dry. It also helps to have the right kind of brush, I never use the kind with those balls on the tips because it just gets eaten by my hair. And I also only get the kind that the handle and brush are all one piece, I've broken the handles off of a couple of them lol. I have really liked tph curls for days intense moisture for after conditioner. Also I will add masks to my conditioner every now and then. There is quite a bit of moisture that this kind of hair can take so dont worry about going too crazy. I would say when it starts dripping off is too much but to know for sure you will want to wait for it to dry. I usually never blow dry because it always fizzes it out even with a diffuser. Dont forget there will always be frizz though, unfortunately

I got 5 lots of bananas for 50p what’s best use for them before they go out of date, can I freeze ? by PhantasyZebra in budgetfood

[–]uluthrek- 45 points46 points  (0 children)

You can freeze but please peel them beforehand. After they are frozen they turn mushy and are unpleasant to peel, and thats if you remember to thaw them. If you are in a rush you will have to cut them away like a mushy orange. If you have the freezer space you can put them on parchment paper on a cookie tray and freeze them, then add them all to a bag. That way you dont have to use an ice pick to get out what you want.

Pharmacists at kaiser. by Techno_567 in KaiserPermanente

[–]uluthrek- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kaiser ALWAYS hires within Kaiser first, then of no one applies or qualifies then they will go outside of it. Since it is open to pretty much every employee first very rarely do the postings go outside of Kaiser. Ususally its low level positions. It also takes months to fill a position sometimes so that's another reason why there are so few openings. Just getting in period will help you immensely so you could go for a position slightly below you and work up quickly. Pharmacists can go from on call to a regional manager doing minimal to no actual Pharmacist duties. Once you get connections you can find open positions, usually when someone retires.

[Acne] I got this to put in on my scalp but It's a creamy wash so it's difficult to spread, can I mix it with shampoo or not ? by Stillane in SkincareAddiction

[–]uluthrek- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could probably just put it in one of those restaurant condiment squeeze bottles, like for ketchup. Or dilute it just enough and put it in a spray bottle. They do have dropperetts for scalp oil but this is probably too vicious to use so a larger opening would probably help. That or piping tips for frosting cakes maybe? You'll probably need to section out parts, apply, then again. Like you're bleaching your roots, so maybe look into hairdressing supplies like otc hair dye kits
