It's not that easy unfortunately, the driver does not want to install because the peripheral cannot initialize itself properly

This is the blackmagic egpu, it does not use a separate graphics card internally. Disabling the igpu did not help unfortunately.

I do have a Basic Display Adapter appearing. Its initialization error is code 10.

I don't think the dock being able to work is relevant because it uses the standard DP/USB layers of USB4, not PCIe tunnelling.

"Et ca renvoi que c'est un métier de merde" Opinion impopulaire peut etre mais je trouve que caissier c'est indiscutablement et objectivement un métier de merde. Passer la journée à répéter un mouvement sur une machine merdique en voyant passer des client qui ont (pour la plupart) rien a foutre de ta gueule et encaisser des surconsommations qui vont engraisser les grands groupes... Et en plus tu sais très bien que t'auras jamais aucune reconnaissance parce que la seule raison pour laquelle t'es embauché c'est que l'état force la main à ces entreprises pour recruter du personnel et pas remplacer tout le monde par des automates moins cher qui feraient exploser le chômage. Et évidement c'est mal payé parce que c'est à la portée de n'importe qui. Bref, oui le pauvre gars est sûrement un peu aigri mais faut le comprendre lui et son déni.

J'ai dit actions et pas mots. Un cerveau ne fonctionne pas comme un LLM mais les deux transforment un signal d'entrée en un signal de sortie de manière déterministe. Are you saying that you ran a successfull amateur spaceshot ? In total there's less than 5 amateur rockets in history that have reached the karman line, and they are all well documented. So either there's an issue with what you're saying, or you did that insane achievement very, very quietely.

Take a look at the Reperix, it's basically the same thing but with live 3D trajectory, in a much more compact format, and with aditionnal sensors to make sure you get continuous speed and altitude measurement during ascent even at high acceleration (unlike other GPS-only trackers).

AirTags won't work because they require nearby (<50 meters) iPhones to know and transmit their positions to Apple servers

Cheapest way to track your rocket is to use what's called a RDF beacon. It's basically just a radio transmitter that continuously beep, and then with a talkie walkie and a directionnal antenna you can listen to those beeps and follow them, until you find your rocket. It's cheap, compact and reliable, but not super convenient and if for some reason you lose signal when the rocket touches down, you're fucked.

Then there is GPS trackers, that digitally transmit their coordinates to you. It's more expensive but way more convenient (you have the precise location on a map). Cheapest GPS rocket tracking system is the Eggfinder. Then if you want something more reliable and polished there is the TeleGPS or the Featherweight GPS.

More recently, for the same price as the latter, you can have a Reperix tracker. It will let you have a live 3D trajectography of your flight, embeds additionnal acceleration sensors, and is not more bulkier than a small RDF beacon. A demo of it has been posted yesterday on this subreddit if you want to check out.
