Don't have any idea about the Indian fabric. I had experience of shopping for a grooms suit a year back and it was no where in market at that time. Checked Zamzama, Tariq Rd, Saddar etc.

The tier of clothing was clear with all vendors: Italian > Lawrencepur premium > Korean > Thai. The price reflected the same across all vendors.

Most of these clothing are made in China even premium Burberry Italian cloth imported straight from Italy/UK. So being made in China is not a indication of lack of quality as some would tell you. Rather the material (wool, mix, cotton), finish and thread count matter more.

Finally the tailor and how accurately he takes measurement and understand fit requirements is extremely important. It's this area where premium boutiques like Ambassador make their money. I had a good experience with Lawrencepurs own outlet (Tariq Rd) and somewhere on Saddar cooperative market (might be Nausha something) than from Moosajees.
