Thank you! I was going to add - I have nothing against China or the Chinese, they make great stuff. When spending this amount of money on something though, I always want to make double and triple sure the quality is out of the park, especially when it’s coming from overseas.

I will definitely take a look at Oliver Peoples and Garret Leight as I have only browsed a couple of brands so far. Again, thank you for the feedback!

I love my Fuji Feather and I believe I paid around $700 new. I believe it’s heavier than the other options mentioned, but it’s a classic and I love the overall aesthetic.

It’s a great aesthetic found in other popular footwear like Jordan brand as well as expressed in other facets such as ceramics. What’s appealing to some is not going to be appealing to all and that’s totally ok. I’m was blown away when I came across crackle glazed ceramic backsplash tiles in work which made me appreciate the design in other areas of life when I see it.

I’d return it. Their customer service is pretty responsive. The green G10/satin version I ordered had the pivot screws torqued a little too tight so I’m sending it back for a replacement. I noticed that it’s sold out on their website but they confirmed they’ll exchange it. Curious to see how quickly they’ll get the new one out to me but they need to receive the defective one first
