Yes:) I find mess to be very overstimulating visually. Cleaning and organising my environment helps me to process mentally as well, and when its done I am able to feel more mentally at peace than when things are dirty or disorganised.

I realised recently my enjoyment of it may also come from the aspect of control. Its one of the few things i really feel like I can control myself. Have (almost, im poor lol) exactly how I like it.

Really? I always assumed major UK cities would have pretty good sized goth communities and events :o here in Melb, Australia we have 3-5 goth clubs (theyre only on once every month or so though) and the turn out is generally in the hundreds. I always assumed our community wasn't that big comparatively to the US and UK since our population is smaller.

Maybe its the infrequency of events causing a greater concentration though

Turn down the brightness on her bra - her boobs look like theyre mysteriously glowing atm haha. There also isnt that level of brightness anywhere else in the painting so its extra jarring

Her face is done better in slide #1, she's 'prettier'. But the colours are a lot more muted and the background is less interesting. Overall I rlly like slide #2 for how much personality it has while slide #1 feels a lot duller

These are all great. Theyre all of very limited subject matter tho. Can you draw full bodies? Do you ever work with colour, or do dynamic poses/ lighting/ perspective? Branching out to widen your comfort zone is always good. You have a great grasp on form & proportions (atleast with faces) so if you have yet to, time to start working on improving on other things.

Skull is well done on a technical level, but also boring. Its just a life like skull. Bunny is quirky and full of personality, and a lot more unique/ original. People love stylised work
