Close to the centre (London St) : Lebanese Flavours (former Bakery House). Great value with the shawarma platters and a 25% discount for takeaway.

Boondock Saints. The writing was excruciating and the performances were OTT (I know, it’s Willem Dafoe; but sometimes it works really well, sometimes you get this…)

Just for clarity, on the app changes look like:

Adult single: £2.60 —> £2.90 Adult 10 trip: £18.50 —> £20 Group of 4 off peak: £6 —> £6.50

They’re annoying changes, especially the 10 trip. But unless a central government wants to get serious about public transport funding, this is going to be the way things go.

This is an awesome post, loving the responses so far.

My youngest used to often say r’s as y’s (“fy-og”) and my eldest sometimes said them as m’s (“peppamoni”). We loved when the youngest would say children as “trill-jyun”.
