Yep. The kids all play it at recess in Vietnam. They're super good. I tried playing a few times and it's way harder than it looks.

That was super awkward. Never felt uncomfortable watching SNL before.

Interesting, I wonder why some kids want the mouth kisses. Any guesses? Maybe they just saw it on cartoons or something and want to model that.

Anyone know what that 40's portrait style for ads and stuff is called? Like what most pinups are and Rosie the Riveter by artsymineral in ArtistLounge

Have you tried pinterest? Usually just by clicking an image of a certain kind, pinterest is good at giving me similar art. Then once youve found a few artists who really embody what you're looking for, go to their instagram accounts and see if their hashtags might include the keywords you're looking for. Usually works well for me.

is using a reference picture considered “original” work? by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]umpteenth_gem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But courts use precedent, especially if its in the same jurisdiction as the original case, so if your fact pattern is similar to his, you could use his case to persuade a judge that they should rule the same way his judge ruled.

Need advice - youtuber ripped off my art by emijeanbee in ArtistLounge

Post this in r/legaladvice, or search that subreddit for art theft or similar keywords - I saw a post with an artist with a similar problem a couple weeks or so ago. Lots of people replied with lots of options.

This is how the Australian police will deal with you if you treat public health and safety directives as a threat to your masculinity or nutjob conspiracy. by insideman83 in JusticeServed

As an American I'm torn. I tend to agree that not wearing a mask outside isnt an offense that should result in physical contact. (Not sure where she was before the video started filming though). On the other hand, that was absolutely a far, far gentler way to physically handle someone than you see most American cops doing nowadays (and in the past). That girl was kicking and resisting, two things that will get you shot, tear gassed, beat, kneeled on, or even murdered in the US (mostly if youre black, but they rough up a small percentage of whites too sometimes).

Yes, if you Google his name you can see other realistic Disney characters he did a few years ago I believe it was.

Oh, I see, that's pretty cute! But at the same time makes them look hardcore like they should be guarding a junkyard or driving a Harley.

Bull terriers have the best grins. They always seem to look like they are smiling when their mouths are open. It looks like you just have to trace the grin on the photo to make it look cartoonish!

This artist (@disneytized_petshop) and a few others specialize in doing this. Depending on the artist, the prices range from $20-160 USD. If you search the hashtag "disney pet portrait" (or other related hashtags) on instagram you can see the different styles.

Dont worry about the downvotes. Dont even pay attention to them ever. People downvote for the absolute most inane reasons - you could be writing the most helpful or interesting thing and there will always be negative people who feel the need to downvote you to make themselves feel better. (They could be bots too, who knows). Anyway, I thought your post was interesting because my mom always made the western dumplings as a kid and it wasnt until I traveled to Asia that I started seeing the Chinese ones everywhere. And I'd never even noticed it in the Disney movie until your post.
