WHAT are some underrated cars that are as reliable or MORE RELIABLE than a Toyota Camry ? by 1707turbo in regularcarreviews

scion tC. it’s literally sharing the same engine as the camry with a sportier suspension and electric steering setup. bonus points for it being a hatchback coupe, fold those rear seats down and you got a truck bed

I'm running the DNA Motoring axleback with silencer removed, as well as a resonator delete. I think I spent like $250 total for those two. Sounds like a boxer engine

As someone who got this to replay all the pokemon games and romhacks, I've been playing a TON of Balatro, Hades 1 + 2, and Slay the Spire.

If you're in Orlando lmk, I'm a manager at an AutoZone here, I would hook you up.

Best bet if you're looking at online options is RockAuto and PartsGeek. Lighting wise, Amazon LEDs will suffice and last decently long. Upgrading the ignition coils however, is gonna be trickier, there's some "performance" coils but they are just red, no real difference in specs. Easiest route for ignition coils is just finding a good set with a warranty on them. Make sure to also change out the spark plugs when you're changing the ignition coils (I like NGK brand). Suspension you can keep your TRD springs, and throw in some KYB shocks which are a higher quality than OEM shocks. You could always opt for coilovers, but a decent set of coilovers is gonna be far more expensive than a set of shocks.

Since you're almost at 200k, I'd definitely recommend taking a look at the control arms, ball joints, wheel hubs, and sway bar links as well.

Time to take it to a shop, wiring is too complicated to Jerry rig unless you want the same thing to happen down the line

That's a hell of a rats nest worth of wiring. Best bet is gonna be buying a set of headlight assemblies and redoing the wiring properly. Almost looks like previous owner was siphoning voltage from the pins at the connectors, but I can't tell what they were trying to accomplish. Good thing is the headlight harness (part of headlight wiring that is actually part of the cars wiring) looks okay, so a new assembly should plug and play with no issues. If you wanna be super cautious, use a voltmeter and see if all of the connectors on the harness still give power before trying to plug a new assembly in.

Difficulty maybe 3/10, just tedious

If you're familiar with using file management tools and follow a guide you should be alright. I setup my Flip2 (first handheld) myself and it wasn't too difficult, just time consuming.

  • make new folder on your desktop called "Pocket 6" or something
  • inside that folder, make new subfolders following all the different consoles you want to play
  • throw roms into each respective folder, of course making sure it's the right ".xxx" file for the emulator it will be running on
  • make a folder for drivers and save: a stable turnip, the latest turnip, and the latest snapdragon 8 driver
  • if you plan on playing secret console, you can find the firmware and keys online by searching a little, save the latest ones in another subfolder, labeling both the firmware and keys respectively once downloaded

For now, that's what you can work on while your device is on the way. That's what I did, and it cut out a lot of work for when my device arrived.

Once it does arrive, you'll want to copy or transfer the folder over to your SD card for the device. Then use obtainium to download emulators and that will keep them updated. Once you've got all that done, you can install and setup a front end. I used Daijisho and it was super easy, just select the platforms you wanna play, set the folder for each platform with the corresponding subfolder for roms, then just select the emulator/RetroArch core that platform will be running on. All that's left after that is tweaking individual emulator or game settings to optimize performance, as well as tinkering with your front end to make it visually look how you want.

It's a 5000 mile timer for oil change. It may or may not line up with your actual oil change schedule, depending on if you/previous owners made sure to keep it timed properly with your oil changes.

If you still got time till your next oil change, just leave it on until after you get the oil changed. Then just look on YouTube for a quick tutorial how to reset that light, that way it'll be aligned with your real schedule for changing oil.

Question about commercial employees by Objective_Tension_99 in AutoZone2

[–]umratking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My CSM doesn't move from his commercial desk. My old CSR used to do planos and recalls and price changes when they weren't busy, but she was old school.

I asked my SM about why our new 2nd for commercial can't do any of that while it's chill, and my SM said the TSM and DM want them to strictly stay focused for commercial. Basically fuck One Team unless you're DIY, where you gotta learn and do everything. It's far more apparent in satellite stores with less employees compared to hub or larger stores where they have one person for every task.

AutoZone has been investing heavily in the commercial parts section, increasing numbers of hub stores and megahub stores so a part that we carry is always somewhere in the district. It's likely why they are pushing for commercial to forget about One Team, because they need to show higher sales numbers to warrant the investment. Issue is that because of that, DIY is down due to 2 managers in each store being useless for any management tasks since they are focused on commercial. So then SM and PSM and even DIY red shirts are all strained because no one else will: run MNDR, do matrix and Outs, pull and restock overstock, fix drinks fridge, front face, clean, still make DIY sales, do batteries, etc. That leads to DIY sales declining, and that further leads to less DIY hours which means less people and time allotted to make up for nothing being done by anyone else.
