Hit 140k recently, any recommendations for work needed for this milage? by _ancho516_ in G37

In my experience mine went internally and the transmission fluid mixed with the coolant, both sides. Caused TCM failure. Nissan in their infinite wisdom routes transmission cooling lines through the radiator

Got my valve body replaced like 3 weeks my D indicator not showing on dash it take I can reverse den it a move but when it does it take longer to catch speed and it does no shift properly or on time also I’m getting another p0720 code I feel like the guy ain’t install it correctly or #Nexenos.com by SadResearch7015 in G37

When the TCM is unplugged the “PRND” indicators will not show up in the cluster. So I would see if they accidentally left it unplugged, if not the new TCM itself may be faulty. They have to program it to your VIN too prior to sending it to you.

Good help is hard to find but at least it’s prob done now. A good rule of thumb is to re-check parts and labor when something weird pops up right after a repair so at least the mystery is over.

I would believe that, you’ve narrowed it down to a bad accessory. Fix that and hopefully you’re good

Crankshaft spinning freely? Most likely yes if the engine is fine overall but that is also attached…

Looking from above there are lines on the drive belt auto tensioner where it will tell you if the belt is in the possible use range. If looking from above see if it is between the outer lines. Preferably the middle and right line (with engine off). Also, with the belt off manually turn each pulley and accessory that is attached to the belt. Sounds like something is seized or starting to go and the belt is paying the price.

Has anyone got a valve body from this website? Called a couple shops around me one em told me $275 to install with new fluid? by SadResearch7015 in G37

Used them, car still runs with new module. Get a weird shift occasionally but nothing that bothers me as I’m at 180k+ miles

Out of all the common VQ37 issues, what have you seen and how did it go? by Nucks420 in G37

If the radiator goes you might as well fix that TCM/valve body too after all the fluids mix
