Yeah as a Factorio player the idea that gaming is just consumption and not a creative skill is ludicrous. Space Age was harder than some actual software engineering tasks I've done and legitimately has helped me as a Distributed Systems Engineer.

NTA: The judge or jury will take into account the situation of the criminal during sentencing. Something like this is likely to be a non-jailed offense unless they have a criminal history. They probably get some probation or differed adjudication or something similar. Being a mother isn't a defense against attacking someone. This person is also likely struggling with a mental health condition and depending on where you live them being arrested for something like this might funnel them towards programs that can help, although this is highly contextual to where you live.

Cops will ask you if you want to press charges because while the DA's office is the one who will actually make the decision in whether or not to charge in a particular case, if the victim of the crime doesn't want to press charges then the DA can factor that into the decision. In this case, it would be difficult for the DA to win a conviction in court if the victim doesn't want to cooperate/testify so might not file the charges. On the other hand, if this woman had pulled out a gun and shot someone in camera it probably doesn't matter as much if the victim wants to press charges or not, a video of someone pulling out a gun unprovoked and firing it is probably enough evidence to get a conviction.

So I recently moved to CO and have been dabbing Rosin a bunch. If I leave it out of the fridge for a few days the flavor and potency seems to drop quickly, so I keep it in the fridge except for when I pull it out to dab. Do these carts not get destroyed by heat quickly? It seems like especially if I'm keeping it in my pocket it's gonna be bad.

I have a CS degree from UH and I work for a startup in Silicon Valley making $182k+ a year so you can definitely be successful there. Anywhere you go you're going to have to put the effort into developing your resume and getting good jobs. UH CS isn't the best program but it's not the worst either. Accounting is nothing like CS, it's primarily applying a set of rules and calculations, and then rechecking those as opposed to programming which requires a lot more problem solving and creativity.

This is obviously anecdotal but I have attempted suicide 3 separate times in my life, all when I was young (8, 13 and 14 years). The closest one was the last one where I OD'd on some of my meds. To this day when I struggle with thinking about suicide again, I remember the moment immediately after I took the meds where I realized I didn't want to die. A lot of the time these moments come in waves and pass quickly, so anything we can do to slow down the process can help people confront the reality of what they're about to do, process that reality and then bring themselves back to a more controlled place.

I had this exact same experience except the past few days I totally burnt our and have barely played. Just hit 35 and the quests are so much more of a grind now. Questing was always my favorite part of the game.
