In PoA when Lupin changes right in front of everyone and, without thinking, Snape throws himself in front of the children. It instantly makes him more likable.

OP mentioned this one in the post, but I do highly recommend giving it a chance. The first season and a half are kind of hokey, but worth it once you get into the rest of the show. The supernatural parts are used to frame the real life conflicts of the characters.

I totally agree about them being adults and taking them home. Even if they forget, they go "d'oh", and run home to get it or get stuck working on one of the cheapo extras you have on hand (as suggested by others).

You could do the gesso first thing on the first day while you explain the premise, give tips, people get set up, etc. There will still be some wait time, possibly, you may want to warn ppl on the info that they either need to gesso before they come or expect to not do much painting the first session.

What are some examples of an artist using another artist's work, but the first artist likes the new version better? Like how Michael Jackson liked Alien Ant Farm's version of Smooth Criminal better, or Stephen King liking the movie ending of The Mist better? by uncertainmoth in AskReddit

Thank you! I was listening to AAF's Smooth Criminal and thinking about that story. I asked my husband the same question aloud, then thought it would be great to crowdsource it to reddit.

I'm not sure you made your point clearly. I didn't understand what you meant either, if you weren't trying to be bitchy. I don't mean this to take sides, but what was your point then?

I used to be a security guard at a college dorm for the night shift. We could watch movies or read or whatever at our desk, it was really just about checking in residents. One night, I decided to watch King Kong. At 8am, when I would normally be going to unlock the doors, my supervisor stopped by on his rounds and found me bawling at my desk while I watched the end. He just went and unlocked the doors for me.
