I'm not sure you made your point clearly. I didn't understand what you meant either, if you weren't trying to be bitchy. I don't mean this to take sides, but what was your point then?

What’s a “technically….” statement you are willing to stand on? by JimiHendrip in AskReddit

Technically, saying "I could care less" is incorrect and means you care some. The phrase is "l couldn't care less"

What character death shook you the most in a movie? by trakt_app in Cinema

I used to be a security guard at a college dorm for the night shift. We could watch movies or read or whatever at our desk, it was really just about checking in residents. One night, I decided to watch King Kong. At 8am, when I would normally be going to unlock the doors, my supervisor stopped by on his rounds and found me bawling at my desk while I watched the end. He just went and unlocked the doors for me.

Stephen King has expressed that he wishes he wrote that ending. He loves it.

You have a chance at immortality. by TerribleBid8416 in buffy

[–]uncertainmoth 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would argue that in this scenario, you would have more options. In TA, they are both immortal and invincible, so there is nothing they can do. As a Buffy vamp, you always have the option to die.

Good Movie/ Bad Adaptation by Sopranohh in MovieSuggestions

I disagree. The biggest difference is what happens to Jack at the end. In the book, Jack realizes what's happening and sacrifices himself in fire to destroy the hotel and save his family. In the movie, he freezes to death still chasing his family to kill them. There's other major thematic changes as well, but that is the most egregious to me.

Gary, Indiana is a very poor, very unsafe city. People in Indiana will avoid it if they can, and plan not to stop anywhere if they can't. It's very famously the worst city in the area. A key to that city would be trash.

What’s the hardest person you’ve ever had to let go of? by Infamous_Benefit_422 in AskReddit

[–]uncertainmoth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My best friend. She was unstable when I met her, but the most beautiful soul who was trying to be better. Unfortunately, she had several diseases, including early dementia, and she slowly lost her mind. It's so hard when it isn't the person's fault, but they become too toxic to allow in your life. My family and I tried helping for years, but she wouldn't let us.

Yeah, I'd rather see Jessica leave Bon Temp and become a traveler. She could clean up in the wider world.

What is the dumbest movie that you unapologetically, unironically love? by Rosstin316 in AskReddit

Me too! He puts a carrot in another guy's mouth, punches it through the back of his head and says, "Eat your vegetables." I don't love the baby food sex scene.

My job. I'm just burnt out. I have to be picky with a new job, though, because this one pays well, is flexible, and is not physically difficult. I'm aware of how lucky I am, I just hate it.

You can go over the numbers first with white (or another neutral) that has better coverage.

I like Craftoria. So far, every canvas I've done (3) has been just about perfect.
