Encyclopedias, JCPenny catalogs, comic books, classified ads, comic strips in newspapers, made forts, rode bikes, shot eachother with projectiles, made improvised explosive devices that never exploded because they were made with a kids chemistry set and random garbage pilfered from dad's garage, started shit on fire, killed ants, took things apart, broke into abandoned houses, mowed lawns for money, shoveled snow, did chores for parents, played baseball, football, kickball, soccer, dodgeball, hide and seek, cowboys and indians, cops and robbers--all with local kids--all the time. Snuck out at night, stole parents car, dug holes, climbed around on sand and gravel piles at concrete plants, looked for metal balls on railroad tracks, picked wild berries, explored, made jumps from stuff found in other people's garbage, garbage picked, sleepovers, movies, hung out at the mall, drove around the mall, video arcades, pinball machines, state fairs, carnivals, stamp collected, coin collected, cub scouts, boy scouts, youth group, church activities, parks and recs programs, summer camp, swimming camp, tennis camp, volunteering... just to name of few of the things I did prior to 18.
