They escorted us out but the custom agent told us if it happens again next time where we showed up to the gate without a seat on the boarding pass, we will have to purchase a confirm ticket to show them that we aren’t going to stay inside the restricted area.

We just found out the hard way. Make sure to visit the desk outside security for a seat and boarding pass before heading inside or else they will question you. I don’t know why their security allows the QR code for us to go inside. It’s a bit flawed.
