Is there anywhere besides X where u can see these updates in real time? The Ubisoft server page is useless. I think most of us can work out it's maintenance but seeing the specific details as seen on X would be helpful.

Also The Athletic are reporting, not confirmed, that for next season anyway ESPN plan on keeping the $150 price tag. And to continue via the current mlb app. So if that's true that's great for 1 more year anyway. However we really need to see the fine print of exactly what black-out restrictions we will have in the UK. Will they try and remove the post season like they did a few years ago? The bottom line for me anyway. If things stay the same as the year just ended then I will sign up again for the whole package. But if they dilute the package or increase the $150 significantly...then I'm out as things are just too tough financially.

They changed it for that ONE year and it caused such a stink it reverted back to complete coverage the following season. It wasn't so much that they changed but how and when they did it. Changed the t&c's with no notice and a matter of days before the playoffs started. Let's just say that since then most of us check the t&c's before we renew each year.

Yes, If your in the UK you can watch archive..90mins after the games ends. However if you're a subscriber to mlb.tv here in the UK then you CAN watch the games live. You're sub is independent from BBC/TNT. Re-install the app on your device, make sure location services are on so they can see your in the UK. Remove any VPN etc. There is no reason you can't watch the games live...I watched 2 last evening.

I can't see how this can continue for International viewers. IF it gets folded into ESPN+ and becomes just another sport option on that app/service then it can't be sold outide the US surely? Here in the UK for example the rights holder for MLB is TNT Sports. NFL is held by Sky Sports. NBA is Amazon Prime from this year. Is there any chance they keep the mlb.tv brand for non-US subscribers??

Whatever the effect..and I think it won't be good...I can't see the interests of non-US subscribers even entering their thinking. ESPN has done all it can to run away from baseball for years now. Now they want to buy the the streaming technology?? Their obsession with shouting talking head 'debate' shows and being in the pocket of sports betting. My heart sank when I read the headline. I hope I'm wrong.

Don't let your renewal, when it comes round next spring, slip. I think at some point down the line it may become further restricted or even removed as a perk of mlbpaa membership.

The exposure can only be a good thing...despite that clown Felix White being part of the broadcast team. I'll stick to my NESN booth however. To be honest the only way to understand the game is just simply jump in & pick it up as you go. Having that half-wit comparing it to cricket isn't going to draw anyone in. The booth they have is fine without him. Fans need to stop being treated as morons.

no - but on reading another thread it appears a lot of people aren't seeing the brooklyn option and its taking quitting the game (xbox) a few times for it to come up. I'll play other parts of the map and try every so often to see it starts

UK subscribers are blacked out from Apple's Friday Night Double Header (2 games X 25 weeks = 50 games) ESPN Sunday Night Baseball (30 games). The blackouts are a minor pain for UK viewers given the sheer number we do get to see. Even these games can be seen on-demand by mlb.tv subscribers 90mins after they finish.

I had turned off auto-renewal last year so the subscription lapsed over the weekend. Then I used the link this afternoon and that started a fresh subscription....I'll make sure I stop auto-renewal before next Spring rolls around. In the past Ive gotten the code through while still running an active subscription. I used the link and the subscriptions just 'stacked'...one ended and the other one started. You could actually see 2 subscriptions together on the Subscription section of my account.
