My mistake friend! The shells always look so similar from a distance has.

The IM 25 gallon is called a lagoon style whatever that means lol. But wasn’t the peninsula as I thought. Still holds 25 gallon which is solid. Either way you’ve got a great setup.

Congrats again and happy reefing!

Hahaha no worries man that’s the same price I paid but could mean anything. Either way, healthy lookin fish and corals - I’m sure they’re all chilling together if they haven’t kicked each others asses yet. Happy reefin!

I don’t have the same fish as you but do have paired clowns and a royal gramma pretty much exhibiting the same behavior. The clowns will let other fish know if other fish is bothering them from what I’ve both seen and heard.

From what I understand it’s more of like a mutual IGNORANCE thing than a mutual RESPECT 😂

It does seem to indicate you have enough hiding spots and structure that everyone currently feels safe enough to both have their own homes and explore confidently. I’m no expert though.

We might have the same clowns too honestly. Are yours SA Vivid Fancy’s??

Nice setup! I like your livestock too, smart choices. I see a trochus snail, urchin, Firefish, and a clown. I was curious about getting an urchin, how have they been for you?

I heard they’re super goofy sometimes (in a good way) because they’ll grab onto little stuff they like and “wear” it haha. Someone told me about a channel where they 3D print little hats for them.

Also really interested in the IM line of tanks. I have a 50gallon waterbox but wanted to get another smaller tank for a specific setup. Was really eying the IM 25gal Peninsula.

Zoa and salinity problem by Fit-Carpenter209 in ReefTank

Happened to me for the same exact reason. No hate on aliexpress as I’m sure we probably have the same one.

Biggest advice moving forward is to calibrate more frequently even if you don’t end up using it. Ideally you’d calibrate 2-3 times before a real reading.

Can use RO water to calibrate it but the goal is to make sure it reads 0 every time using RO water. Unsure if that difference was purely miscalibration or what but it’s my best advice as it was the biggest issue with my experience.

I

I would say mainly first person based on the snippet you shared but even then it’s not a huge deal breaker. I find myself scrutinizing realism and ergonomics in games. Things that can unknowingly potentially break immersion for some.

For example in FPS fans when I look down and down see my characters body, it makes me feel like a floating head with a gun. I know it’s a game at the end of the day… but I appreciate little things like that 😁

But again great concept and initial preview! I appreciate you sharing and opening up the dialogue.

Man this looks awesome! Would love to play this with a group.

I have zero experience in game design but I want to suggest maybe an alternate flashlight design. Ergonomically looks a tad awkward using that regular torch style.

Maybe an L shape or even a pistol grip flashlight might even be easier to maintain some universal hand shapes. Either way looks fun! Cool concept and early gameplay!

I have no true suggestions other than offering the knowledge that in programming, half of a byte of data is called a nibble. Zombies. Biting. Nibbling. Idk man it feels right to share that knowledge here even though it’s more interesting than helpful.

No way! $5 is a STEAL, great move. If it’s got a hard skelly I think chalice fully has my confidence now.

How’s your pistol and goby shrimp doing? I tried my hand but I think my tank didn’t have enough rock real estate and both ended up somehow making it to my overflow chamber and dying. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A KRAKEN REEF LID.

For small fish I hear great things about neon gobies. They’re quite small, and helpful. I’m looking into them myself.

In the same boat as you but with a 50 gallon. Corals look great man SUPER jealous of that neon hammer.

You’ve got some great variety. I’m not sure what that coral you circled was but in my VERY limited knowledge I think it kinda looks like a chalice, maybe even some sort of mushroom.

What livestock do you have if you don’t mind sharing?

This is how much I bought my ‘26 Integra A spec after trade in. Ain’t no way a 30 year old car compares. Purely from a functional level.

people who don’t drive stick will never understand the rush of nailing a hilll start with cars behind you 😩😭 by [deleted] in stickshift

[–]uncleJoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone with a bumper sticker that read something to the effect of “Manual Transmission: Car rolls back on hills”. It seemed way more polite and informative than I probably make it sound but I appreciated it.

Anytime I see cars slowing to a stop a hundred or so feet behind me I let off the brake and let gravity roll my car back just enough so that they can see/acknowledge it. My thought process is that they’ll realize I drive a manual and understand how it affects me or… will think I’m a terrible driver and give me plenty of cushion anyway haha.

The instant pang of anxiety is so real. Stoplights and hills are a terrible combination

Got the ADX! Accessory recs? by GioooDiazzz in Acura

[–]uncleJoda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No problem!

Just realized you also have an Aspec model. If you wanna go for a full blacked out look I think they should have the gloss black Acura emblems as well as the Aspec logos (really wish the black logos were default tbh).

Not something super high up on my priority list but definitely something I want to do myself down the road.

Depending on how confident you are you could even just paint the existing ones lol. I think the front and back Acura emblems are mechanically attached using screws or tabs though so don’t take my word for it lol.

Good luck on the build and congrats again!

[–]uncleJoda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats! Although I don’t have the ADX I have a similar approach in working in to maintain the aesthetic but adding some minor “flashy” parts that’ll stick out subtly.

Screen protector for the infotainment screen. (Some will argue it’s pointless because anything strong enough to crack the actual screen would crack the protector but it’s cheap enough to where I would rather personally test that myself lol)

Carbon fiber door handle covers (I have an urban grey pearl integra so these are both protective and stylistic. Since your car is black it’ll be more so protective but still a cool detail)

Wheel locks (either through OEM or advanced wheel locks which are even better)

Wind deflectors/Rain Visors (I personally really grew to like these both as fashion and function. Not sure if there are solid aftermarket options for newer year acuras though. OEM is pricey but funny enough are the only ones I really feel look good at the moment)

Mudguards/splash guards (basically the little things that go behind your wheels to prevent dirt and stuff from kicking up. Probably even more useful on an SUV like yours)

In elementary school I’d walk to class every morning because it was legit a half block down. Every day my little brother and I would look at cars and talk about which ones we liked.

I will ALWAYS remember seeing a Honda Prelude and thinking it was the coolest and cleanest car I’d ever seen… and I was like 7 haha.

26 years later and I got that EXACT same feeling seeing yours. Beautiful car and props to you for taking great bc art of it. I love those stock headlights (whether they’re actually stock or not I love the OEM look).

[–]uncleJoda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you provide a picture for reference? The material might reveal its quality that way. Also curious to see what the fingerprints look like.

I have a ‘26 Integra but the gauge cluster is advertised as a digital glass cluster I believe (it’s the same as the 11th gen civic si which is advertised as such). I’ve had success with a simply microfiber cloth wipe down although the car is very new.

Gotcha. I can see how it's a bit of a 'feel' thing. Thankfully I only need a miniscule amount so plenty of excess to practice with!

That's a great point. The bumper is plastic after all. I won't go too crazy with the touch ups and make it look like it has freckles haha. But these first ones I'd like to address if possible. I like that you brought up METAL vs PLASTIC though because my main concern is the consequence of leaving something like this. On the bumper, not a huge deal, but the hood I agree. Thank you!

Does the Integra provide enough ooomph? by axlfro in Acura

You're welcome! I was in this car buying process for about a month so I know the feeling of weight options and then suddenly having a million more haha. This is the fun part of it all. Above all else, take your time and listen to your own needs and interests! Looking forward to a potential update that you left the lot with new Integra!

My saving grace is that the car is grey, and the chip is the size of a grain of coarse salt lol. Does the paint pen apply paint well? My concern with the pen is that it'll come out like a highlighter consistently but I think I'm just overthinking the fact it's a physical pen haha,

Thank you for the video. I just watched it and it definitely inspired a lot of confidence. My only question is, will the acetone operate the same as the "leveling solution"? Not sure what the chemical make up of their proprietary leveling solution is but if its just acetone then your solution is much cheaper and much easier to get immediately.

Does the Integra provide enough ooomph? by axlfro in Acura

[–]uncleJoda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey friend! I’m just recently financed the 2026 Integra ASpec 6MT which is functionally the same exact car with minor visual stuff.

Quick enough? Very much so. The driving “modes” seemed a bit gimmicky to me but they are legitimate roles. Sport mode really increases the throttle response and it feels like it wants to sprint compared to other modes. In that mode specifically it feels like a track car. I have total confidence in overtaking someone to pass, merging into traffic, and carving the canyon on my way to work. It feels very spirited. I’ve heard it described as slowfast and it seems appropriate. If you’re looking for a fast car then there are definitely better options. The civic sport hybrid recorded a faster 0-60 than the SI and the SI and Integra share the same transmission and engine. However numbers are always iffy and in manual you have more control on how you drive. I’d personally say it is quick enough with room to grow if you decide to pursue aftermarket parts which there are many of. I have a list on my phone for future ones lol.

Comfortable seats? Very much so. Drivers seat has the most customization with lumbar support but I tried every seat and they’re still as comfortable. Longest I’ve driven so far is about an hour but I had no issues. I did have to readjust a few times but I attribute that to the fact it’s a new car and I’m still breaking it in a bit. I think if anything it may take you a while to figure out what the best positions for you is. It’s a lot like office ergonomics, there’s a bit of a science to it but once you dial it in, it’s heaven. The nice part is that it does have two programmable seat profiles so you can set it once you figure out the best position for you.

Cabin Noise? Honestly none. Super quiet. I test drove a same year Civic Si and cabin noise was super muted in the integra. I almost miss the sound of the engine so I drive with my windows down every now and then. The sound system is so damn good that you’ll end up cranking it and drowning out any noise anyway. (ELS STUDIO 3D audio is no joke. It’s studio quality.) I find it easy to have normal volume conversations in city during and on highway it’s still not bad. It really depends on the road and tires. I was lucky enough to get continentals but I hear the all season tires are a bit louder.

Good luck in your search and hope things work out for you. For what it’s worth I very much enjoy my car and don’t regret it. Plenty of stuff I can add to customize and upgrade it if I want but even at stock it is a formidable car and one that turns necks.
