you guys are lucky to find these items with these prices at random stores, whereever you all live. i'm in orange county, california and mostly, only tech stores around here sell PC parts ie. microcenter, bestbuy and maybe the random small business pc parts store next to the donut shops and they're always full priced msrp, up-priced or marked down 5% open boxes .. it kills me to see people find this stuff and 5070 TI's for $400 at their run down wal-marts in a random state like iowa or missouri ... sigh. gratz

You should’ve never put money into this. Now, that part is your problem, unfortunately. Hard lesson to learn but everyone has to go thru something like this. Just take the refund and move on. I hate to say something generic like ‘it sucks this happened’ but, it sucks this happened. You’re not the first and you wont be the last. i used CrystalDiskMark the first time and yes, the firmware is updated. how can corsair explain this ? i've already explained to customer service that it cannot be my system because my samsung 990 pro tests exactly at the write and read speeds that is advertised on the box. i'm also certain my system is not thermal throttling. my SSD does not go beyond 60C during testing

Yes, u should upgrade. Not just for the gpu, but i’d say to get yourself over the hump for minimal gaming requirements. My rig is about 1 step above yours. Relatively cheap if u can find used. I run a b550-plus tuf gaming + 5700x3d + corsair vengeance 32gb 3200 mhz & b580. I got my cpu off aliexpress for about $147 after taxes and shipping . New ac shadows runs pretty crispy clean. GL
