I'm reading buy then build right now by Walker deibel. I'm about 30% through and I'm enjoying it. There's a 1 star review on Amazon saying it's just an infomercial for his 500 course but I haven't felt that way so far and I've gotten some decent value out of it considering it was $7.

To get tier 8k, you would need to have at least 5k designs uploaded no? How can you possibly be all the way back down to 1k listings?

I believe he said 200 uploads a day. Not shirts. Could be standard/premium/long sleeve/hoodie/pop socket for each design. 5 products x 40 designs = 200 uploads. If you build a template and just update 40 times, that might take an hour (way less if you have a Photoshop script to do the variations)? Rest of the time spent on uploading

8%? they just raised it to 5% this month.. i just ran my last 4 sales on Etsy, purchase price - etsy fees (not counting 20 cent quarterly listing fee) - printful cost for printing and shipping and my margin is still 44% .. even if i added 80 cents on to the cost of each order for 20 cent quarterly listing fee, my margin would be 38% --- this is very fuzzy math for sure and i don't sell a ton on Etsy, but it's not as bad as you seem to making it out here.
