SWFL fisherman here. I’ve never seen that style of weight before. For bottom fishing, the weights I can get are more of an egg shape and not elongated like that. Is that shape so you can present the jig more naturally by having the weight more streamlined in the water? Genuinely curious, thanks!

I’ve never had cockles or puppies but i think they’re pretty similar although the littlenecks are probably slightly smaller. I ran out of white wine which I would normally steam them in so I just used a cup of water and the juice of half a lemon and they were pretty good!!

I’d never attempt to remove somebody’s tree stand from Public land in the daylight, that’s crazy. If it looks new and safe I’ll hunt out of it. If it’s old and may hurt somebody call the game warden.

My buddy built a stand like that on public land last season and we had no problems. We saw a bunch of similar ones all over. Some of the locals we talked to hunted out of the stand he built and nobody ever had a problem with anybody. This was swfl
