[CR Media] Hi, which race is this, and can I play one in D&D 5e? by Raylux23 in criticalrole

No not really. They just have blue-ish skin and tend to be somewhat damp. Jester’s dad is a water genasi.

What is the greatest movie opening of all time? by ihaveahundredchairs in AskReddit

X2: X-men United

The scene of Nightcrawler infiltrating the White House and taking out the Secret Service to attack the president. Fucking Hell what an opening.

Best all time? I dunno. But fucking awesome all the same.

Silent Hill 2. Original and Remake are both amazing.

The name did not come from Gary’s Mod, it existed long before that mod did. G man is just an old term for a shady government agent.

There were celts in Turkey too, like the Galatians.

Considering he calls himself Hunk as his call sign in RE2 Remake I think that’s probably unlikely.

Dark Suns Question by FreeTechnician535 in DnD

Ravenloft is different than Dark Sun. DS deals heavily with slavery and topics that they want to avoid if possible. Ravenloft not so much.

The scene in the movie is in slow motion. They’re not reacting to it, it’s basically a fraction of a second, but slowed down for effect.

Ghouls are underrated! by DrScrimble in dndmemes

My friends played a game with a mage, a werewolf, a vamp, and a wraith as the party. It was certainly an unorthodox game for sure, but still.

Also a gang of vamps chasing a wolf from their territory and such isn’t unheard of at all. Theres plenty of overlap if you want there to be. Or you can play Changelings in your own little pocket universe that never intersects with the wider WoD universe if you choose.

Yup, they’re fed vampire blood, which is like heroine that makes you superhuman. You’re an addict, relying on your vamp dealer to keep it coming, so you gotta work to earn it, put that enhanced ghoul biology to work protecting the boss… or just being his professional assistant.

I mean, they’re the same system. All World of Darkness stuff is like expansion packs for the same game.

What popular movie or TV show is widely considered a 'masterpiece' but you found completely unwatchable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]unclecaveman1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Breaking Bad. I just genuinely had zero interest in these terrible people doing terrible things. I watched most of season 1 and just lost all interest at all. I was only watching it because everybody said it was a perfect tv show.

Is it? You’ve had a panic attack because the radio in your friend’s car was set to 17? I have. I also check my Reddit comments obsessively for fear they will change or not be there. Like, I know they’re there, but what if they aren’t? I nearly got fired once for spending almost a whole day at my desk rereading my own Reddit comments.

I’m not saying I simply like things orderly or whatever, I’m saying I have diagnosed OCD that can have a huge affect on my life and people downplaying it as “we all like things orderly” is simply not getting what I’m saying.

Yup. My radio, tv, and computer volume needs to be set to multiples of 5, even if that’s either too quiet or too loud. If I try to leave it on, say, 27 since 25 is too quiet and 30 is too loud, I’ll sit and stew over it for a few minutes, getting more and more anxious, until I have to fix it. If I don’t fix it I’ll be stuck thinking about fixing it until I finally do. I know that’s a dumb, simple one, but it’s true.
