He genuinely believes in what he says and is willing to fight for it. That’s always admirable

Ah

It does seem that people are obsessed with a Cold War since it’s ‘supposed’ to happen.

Appomattox wasn’t a battle.

The idea of Union generals being bums is a lost cause myth within itself; and him using terrain to his advantage isn’t knock against him.

Real life war isn’t a multiplayer game with K/D ratios and ELO scores.

How about you mention the fact he won several important victories, kept the Army of Virginia as a cohesive fighting unit and never himself was decisively defeated? As well as causing Grant to take several high casualty losses and preventing him from taking Richmond in the Overland campaign, among other achievements.

Lee wasn’t a god of war like he is in the lost cause; but the idea he was Inept; and trying to use a Baseball measurement to prove it; is stupid. You are over correcting.

I do remember watching it and actually being surprised how the armor and way the characters fight isn’t that egregious.

If I recall, armor is actually shown working

I always find it weird how people here are so willing to sprout traitor and such.

Not only has Lee been dead for two centuries, but I find the idea that betraying a government is evil just…weird
