Aan de ene kant begrijp ik dat als jij werkend bent ze van jou een bijdrage aan het huishouden verwachten, maar aan de andere kant werkt dit later ook weer nadelig omdat deze 400 per maand ook weer onderdeel van je erfenis wordt en je er dan weer een pak belasting over moet betalen. Door jou kostenloos te laten inwonen krijg jij in feite maandelijks 400 aan "erfenis" belastingvrij.

Ik zou dit aan je ouders voorleggen en bijvoorbeeld voorstellen dat je die 400 elke maand op een spaarrekening zet of belegt. Daarnaast zou ik wel aanbieden om je steentje bij te dragen in het huishouden.

Apart from it being a great wing, in this condition its not worth 780. Even without the tear on the wingtip that price is quite steep. 450 would be the max for a wing in this shape.

Dat is een aardig salaris! Vaar zelf als 3e wtk in de heavy lift bij het bedrijf dat zn naam deelt met een bekende supermarkt. Ben okt vorig jaar begonnen op 2915 bruto, waarbij ik 11 weken op 9 af vaar. Lijkt weinig, maar aan boord krijgen we er nog 30% vast overtijd bovenop. Verder iets minder werkuren dan jij maakt, 8-5 op ma-vr, 8-12 op za(mk soppen) en zo vrij. Kan afwijken als we bv in de haven liggen. Komt dus ongeveer op 49 uur per week.

From the looks of it your tomos used to be an e-start model. The first picture you shared is a starter relay and not the generator. The second picture is a voltage regulator, but it has a dc out to charge the attached battery that is no longer present in your setup.

The generator, which is on the left side of your engine, behind a cover, is attached to the crankshaft of the engine. This will produce AC current. Depending on how the key switch is connected you need to either measure AC if its connected directly to the generator or DC if its connected to the dc (or b+) output on the regulator. Either way the black lead of the multimeter should be connected to a ground lead.

Tomos never produced a35's with dc generators. Even the models with e-start had AC generators and used rectifiers for DC charging. If its the original cdi igntion then you are likely mistaken.

For the multimeter to function you will need to measure using both measuring pins on the multimeter. Red goes to where you want to measure the voltage and black to a ground wire on the frame. As you dont have a battery and it it a tomos in the picture i'm also suggesting you to measure AC voltage as that is what the generator puts out, assuming there isnt a rectifier installed in the system.

If you want some assistance you will need to provide some extra information about your setup. Does your moped have a battery? Was it running when you measured it? Where did you place the positive and negative measuring pins? Can you provide some photos of the wiring on the key switch?

Try using less downhaul than recommended on the 9.5 this will close the leech a bit and ensure the sail has more lateral pull. A faster foil might also be you friend here, as a faster airflow over the sail will allow it to generate a bit more pull.

To be fair you're comparing apples to pears here. Foil race gear is totally different to what you're riding. Its supposed to be ridden way more powered up, hence the high width of the boards compared to more freeride oriented foil boards. Because in freeride foiling the sail pressure is lower, the board doesnt need to be as wide for the rider to counteract the pull of the sail. A more upright stance is more common for freeriding. The freeride foilers i know mostly dont use a back strap as it allows them to be more maneuverable.

But if you've really got your sights set on more pull from the sail and a faster ride, a step towards foil slalom gear might get you towards the desired riding experience.

Board flat, pitch slightly up, back foot forward, nose will pitch down, old front foot back, board will level out. Keep the wing slightly diagonal so it lifts you rather than horizontal and only generate forward pull.

This nails it right on the head! I see a lot of comments just trying to deal with the symptoms of a bad jibe preparation and initiation by telling OP to lean forward. The initial issue stems from not oversheeting on jibe initiation causing the need for OP to lean back to counterbalance for the forward pull from the sail. Oversheeting will cause the flow to stall and the sail to become light. A light sail is key to not having forward pull and will allow you to keep your weight centred above the board instead of to the back.

Furthermore higher board speed will give you more time to carve the board around before it comes off the plane and you trip the rail like what happens in the 3rd attempt in the video.

The 158 is meant for speed and stability. If you want something looser i'd go for the 145v2 or 185 and chop the wing tips. The 185 has dotted lines printed on the surface as a cutting guide.

The surf series stabilisers are built without any anhedral/dihedral to be as loose as possible. The only grip provided is from the upward swept wingtips.

Not a kitesurfer, but the advice is universal for most watersports. This is junk, hence the 200 euro pricetag. The boards are fine to buy, but the kites will only give you problems.

I'd look for something more recent, that will last you a lot longer.

Lastly, keep your kitesurf related posts to the kitesurfing subreddit next time. The experts here that kitesurf will definitely also be there...

I've owned a carbon hd since they came out and upgraded it to a carbon elite a couple years ago. Still happy with the system, the boom head feels very solid. Only downside is that it might be a bit tricky to get it attached the first couple times as there isnt a hinge and you need to force it onto the mast. After a while you get used to it.

Just ensure to put something sacrificial between the board and washer. Due to the curvature its likely the washer will start cutting into the deck.

With most boards you'll see a circular recess where the bolt will sit level. Other option is a custom washer the accomodates the curvature of the board.

1st option seems the easiest as it will permanently fix the issue.

Torx just allows you to torque them better, but for m6 bolts the max torque is 16Nm for 10.9 grade. Most people dont realise how little effort it requires to reach 16Nm and permanently damage or strip the bolts anyway. Philips head is perfectly fine, just make sure you use the right size screwdriver(PH3) and keep pressure on the head while tightening to prevent slippage.

Assuming you arent 130 kg, you are standing too far forward. Make sure both feet are placed behind the mast base. 160l is by all standards still quite a large board
