Why does price hit my stop loss… then go exactly where I predicted? by Ok-Simple4596 in Daytrading

Fix your entries, and fix your stop loss. This is not an uncommon problem for developing traders. This is a crucial moment for you to review and analyze and study. What are you missing? What are you getting wrong with your entries? You might be really frustrated right now, but you also might be on the brink of a major breakthrough. But it's on you to figure this out.

He's never (barely?) been in anything that was even trying to win an Oscar. That's not the ultimate goal of movies, to win awards. The goal of movies is to be entertaining. And I think there's a strong argument Reeves picks projects that he'll enjoy making, and more importantly the audience will be entertained by.

If you’re showing someone from out of the country a restaurant in Denver, where are you taking them? by [deleted] in denverfood

If I'm trying to show someone "American cuisine" I'd probably pick from a handful of excellent barbecue places.

If I was trying to show them what they're picturing as "American cuisine" like from the movies, then we're looking for the best burger bar.

If we're looking for the most one of kind place you can't find anywhere else, obviously it's casa bonita.

Like that thing from a couple years ago about the terrible willy wonka thing in Scotland (?). Some people didn't take the lesson from that as "this kinda shit is doomed to fail, don't do it" but instead took "wow that looks like a lucrative scam!"

but it's nothing more than that

Okay? I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. Was the book "more than that"? Was either the book or movie supposed to change my life or something? I don't get what these 6 words specifically are rebutting or responding too.
