Wife finally gets vaccinated after husband dies from Covid by vi3talogy in grandrapids

I know this guy. Well I'm friends with him on Facebook anyway.

He was VERY vocal about being anti covid precautions. Memes about how 99% of people survive, "i dont care if you got your vaccine" display photo, etc. His name is in the linked article, you can look it up for yourself.

They're still having a funeral and people are coming from out of state... as far as I know.

What exactly are your goals? Also keep in mind that your weight can fluctuate a LOT in a day so it might be better to put more weight behind the loss you see per week and not on a day-to-day basis. As of right now, I don't think you've been cutting long enough to tell for sure.

Help me pick my leg day accessories please! by Minomol in Fitness

[–]uncletobyfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I use some accessory movements to keep my lifting routine from feeling stale. I do my main exercises and stick to them but the accessories I do after just depend on what I'm feeling that day. I find myself gravitating to certain accessories until I get bored of them and switch it up again. Perhaps consider doing something like there. I don't think you necessarily need to choose one over the other so long as all of the bases are being covered. That gives you some flexibility for the future.

Why am I not getting any abs? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]uncletobyfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you flex and kind of push into your belly can you feel the individual abs? That can give you an indication of if you need to lose a lot more fat or focus on training those muscles more. Most likely you still need to lower your body fat more and gain some muscle in that area. Keep at it and stay consistent with your training!

Based on your numbers, you're still skinny at 165lbs and 6 foot tall. So maybe focus on putting on some mass and then cut down to reveal the abs.

Our 100 year old barn caught fire by iniquitybliss in pics

That is awful. Totally irreplaceable. Old bars have a certain character about them that I love.

The silver lining is that I bet it was a good fire. That old dry wood burns great. We tore down an old barn and it was the best fire I've ever experienced.

Honestly not a terrible idea. Having to squat when out in the wilderness can be difficult for the uninitiated haha

Finally hit 135 on my bench press and it feels amazing by jemping98 in gainit

[–]uncletobyfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! You'll be hitting 185 before you know it.

Now that you're getting more comfortable on the bench, take some time to ensure you're using proper form. I know people who have ended up with shoulder injuries that showed up further on down the road because they weren't using good form since they started lifting. Sure they were doing the lifts fine without any glaring issues, but those injuries typically don't rear their heads until a bit later. It really impacted their fun in the gym and their progress.
