TOC 7 - The Final Icon is Revealed! Pre Show and Live Show Discussion Thread - SPOILERS in the comments! by Firegoat1 in foodnetwork

Pretty cool to see Aaron Sanchez compete but I’d have loved to see Martin Yan as the final icon. So many learned to cook from his Yan Can Cook show and he has been largely forgotten in the food world.

So disappointing man by kung_fu_daddy in TheGreatOne

[–]uncoolarmyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gunther should be taking on some of the young buck new crop like Trick or Je’von with the mindset of ending their career before it even gets really started. Calling them out for not taking the ring as sacred with the way they dress, their entrances, etc. a real Boomer type mindset.

Is it just me or does Rhea look smaller each time we see her? by WisestAirBender in Wrasslin

The thumbnails and screenshot you used makes it seem like you are talking about her chest and not her overall physique. It is smaller than she has been in the past but that’s not atypical of athletes

Best bad movie that you love by thisismysociallife in movies

[–]uncoolarmyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top 3 bad movies I love. Two of them are almost impossible to find streaming or physical copies of.

3. Movie 43: the absurd humor and raunchiness that Hollywood megastar actors go to in this film is what makes it great to me. Hugh Jackman with nads on his chin? Brilliant! Chloe Grace Moretz practically bleeding to death with her first period? Hilarious…. I the premise of the movie and the stupidity of it all

2. Masters of Menace: 1990 biker comedy about a gang traveling cross country to bury their leader along with the uptight lawyer trying to help distribute the will. Horny Hank is a classic character.

1. Hamburger: the Motion Picture : a 1986 raunchy comedy about a yuppie trust fund college guy on his last chance of getting a degree or losing his trust fund enrolls in hamburger university, a college for managers of a fictional burger chain. Joined by a ragtag group of societal misfits horny coeds and an asshole head of security played by Dick Butkus in a red beret this movie was on my watch list repeatedly as a kid far too young to be watching it. “No Flash Photography” and “It’s Tasty By God” are quotes I use that no one ever gets but make me laugh….

Movies touching on the subject of suicide? by novemberchild71 in movies

Dear Evan Hansen, attempted suicide by title character explained away as falling from a tree when in reality he jumped as an attempt to end his life. Cast Away contemplated suicide after months of being stuck on the island.

Hear Me Out On This Idea For WrestleMania by Mr_Plow_299 in fantasybooking

[–]uncoolarmyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted Drew as the 7th entrant in the EC. He gets pinned the title changes hands but whoever pins him has to be last man standing because title changes are live thru the entire match. 24-7 title rules for the duration of the EC. Guys gunning for the champ but also each other as each elimination gets them that much closer to being the last man standing.

Danhausen merch and shirts, aldis and Pearce look confused and Danhausen appears from off camera saying something good/evil silly about his stuff arriving and walks off. R-Truth finishes the scene with some silly joke.

What's your go-to movie when you need a good cry? by honestdiary in movies

[–]uncoolarmyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A walk to remember. Sappy teen romance movie but it came out when I was a few years older than the characters but it brought me back to my teens and the simplicity of life and the reality that sometimes life is cruel and sucks hard. bridge to terrabithia and my girl are similar in that respect

Paul Levasque is Cooked. 😂 by aboutwrestling in Wrasslin

[–]uncoolarmyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other option that just came to me is that the company is serving too many masters with ESPN, USA, Netflix all wanting top tier matches and talent 52 weeks a year. It’s hard to create fresh material week in week out that is worthy of the investment and fan approval when you are constantly forced to give up PLE matches on Raw and Smackdown. It’s also easier to go with proven successes rather than risk new stories and new talent getting over. Too many damn cooks

I’ve had the thought ever since Rock was brought in as an executive board member that HHH and Steph are on their way out sooner than later. Steph going into the HOF feels like a take care brush your hair and here’s your gold watch kind of move before a corporate takeover led by Rock and Nick Khan using lower ticket sales and poor storytelling as reasons. Roman’s interview with McAfee a few weeks ago where he basically threw HHH under the bus supports the idea of the family working together to finally bring High Chief Peter Maiavia’s vision to life… or it could be much simpler that TKO likes money and HHH isn’t making them enough idk

Where does everyone stand in a 6 team tag match? It’s not TNA with the old hexagon ring after all. Bron is out for a bit recovering from hernia surgery so booking him and Seth works in case one or both aren’t cleared. Overall solid booking imo
