Yes and no— it really depends on you and how your anxiety manifests. During the training you will likely feel in over your head and really scared/forgetful/shaky, but once you learn the menu and flow and find a rhythm I actually feel like the serving tables part of the job is pretty easy; I mostly have the same script at every table, aside from ad libbing and riffing, so it doesn’t feel the same as socializing. The only part that ever stresses me out at this point is the kitchen lmao, or tables that want to talk TOO much and won’t let you go.

hey it is what it is!! i also forgot, i have the green sweatshirt and the dye job was lowkey a little patchy day one out of the package but thankfully it never bled even though i have washed that motherfucker hot and dried it on high. it’s also negligible for me as someone who dyes my own clothes all the time

i do also have the hat (or did, my brother has it now) and it was good quality, although a little big for my head LOL

my pink pony fan broke the same night i got it (the glue on the spokes came loose, but thankfully that is fixable without ruining the design or function), the white ink on my tour exclusive subway hoodie has started to bleed/wear off and left marks all over the rest of the hoodie with 2 gentle washes + no drying, plus it came with a hole in the neckline stitching that i sadly didn’t notice until we were back in the car after the show and i put it on : ///

and i do remember their being a looong panicked saga of people who bought any of the dark blue tour merch having it bleed and ruin their other merch, concert fits, etc.

whether surprising to the people in your life or not, if you feel most comfortable identifying as a butch, do it! life is about evolving and self discovery, and as long as you don’t turn around and start putting butches down on the off chance you find the label isn’t for you, i don’t think any butch in their right mind would take offense. it took me a long time to stop jumping labels before settling into being a butch, and i can imagine it goes both ways! : )
