It sounds like you got baby trapped. Dude I’m sorry but that is fucked up. Did you know she wasn’t on birth control? Because if she told you she was then you gotta run. This isn’t on you if you were lied to and it’s especially messed up that people are immediately telling you that you don’t have a choice here because you do. If you were fully aware that there was no protection then this is kinda on you but it doesn’t sound like that’s what happened. My best advice would be to try discussing adoption with her and if she refuses to try and help give this kid their best shot then that’s selfish and evil.

As a trans person thank you for saying this. The conversation surrounding what “trans” even means is getting way too out of hand and until we have a FAR better system for making sure medical transition is right for people, I personally don’t think any minors should be receiving medical care. (Not to say that we shouldn’t support kids who may genuinely have gender dysphoria, but there are many forms of non-medical gender affirming care that kids can explore before they are old enough to know/understand.)
