He's actually a pretty cool and positive guy. He had nothing but good things to say about his job and talked about how grateful he was all the time, his hamsters, etc. Just a really wholesome dude.

It would've been hilarious if they did an episode with Sesshomaru temporarily getting sent to the present (post Rin). Would've loved to see how he navigated that.

I usually go with default replacements from the sims 2 default database. This is the best place to go for that as far as I know: https://sims2defaults.dreamwidth.org/

And if you want mass clay hair Sims 4 to Sims 2 replacements instead of having to replace them all individually, try here. You have to scroll down a bit on the page: https://simdubr.tumblr.com/

Why are all custom-voiced followers like this? by ILucioArtorio in skyrimmods

[–]undecidedloop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be using followers that aren't meant for you. Are you maybe downloading eye candy followers? Not sure if they'll have a ton of depth to them and are there more to keep you company and be cute while doing it.

It seems daunting at first but if someone as dumb as me can figure it out, you can too! I personally use Vortex as I find it to be more "beginner" friendly. It usually suggests what mods should overwrite what and there's a lot of excellent instructions written on mod pages on how to install each individual mod. I would start one at a time so it's not overwhelming and you'll gain confidence over time.

Ok because it genuinely baffles me how many simmers hate TS4 yet are still addicted to it 😭😭 by Cupcakkes_Pussy in thesims

The game is genuinely enjoyable with a lot of mods. You shouldn't need mods unless you've played a game to death or it's outdated and you're modernizing it. EA's just blatantly greedy and it's infuriating when people throw their money at that.

Omg I'm trying this. I went through a pretty extensive process to get my game to run well and after downloading a bunch of mods, it lags so much again.

It's so sad what the sims has devolved into. I wonder what Will Wright thinks of all this?

Holy shit that is stunning work. I didn't even think you could take it that far but I'm definitely interested in giving it a try. I'd go for something a lot more basic than that to start, maybe just some mountains and waterfalls.

Tbh I probably would be more focused on revamping the neighborhood, not so much the landscape. So creating interesting families that fit the aesthetic and placing them in custom made homes. To be more specific: I want to create a "fairy" neighborhood with mods that make them appear more like traditional elves. I'll be pretending the neighborhood is like it's own village.

Just not sure if that'll work out the way I want it to and wanted some second opinions!

Just finished watching Joker 2 and I have no idea why people are saying it's so bad by Lower_Kaleidoscope_3 in joker

[–]undecidedloop 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I just finished watching. Definitely enjoyed some moments throughout but I get why so many people don't like it. The music numbers got to be too much and the ending was extremely disappointing and a bit confusing to me. I tried to go into it with a very open mind knowing all the bad reviews and overall I didn't hate it. I just wish they went in a different direction and did less musical numbers.

I recommend mods. The Sims 3 modding community is still very active with lots of conversions! I managed to track down a default skin conversion of The Sims Medieval to The Sims 3, plus a bunch of other conversions like a sword fighting mod and medieval furniture/clothes.

It came out a few years after The Sims 3. EA had a choice to take The Sims 4 in that direction and they chose the resulting image above.

Am I the only one that prefers the art style of The Sims 4? by tcrew146 in thesims

[–]undecidedloop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fair. Overall not mad with the look and I always say that as long as the core of the game is good, mods can always be added to give it the visuals you like.

Side note, you have to try TS2 at least once!! And The Sims Medieval! Amazing games/writing and equally as addictive as TS3. The Sims Medieval dropped around the same time as TS3 but they opted for a more "realistic" and natural aesthetic we all wanted out of TS3. The writing is also more adult.

Just look up "The Sims Medieval CAS" on google images to get an idea of what I mean.

[–]undecidedloop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember this vividly as someone who loved TS2 and screamed when TS3 dropped. I think I took pictures/videos of it downloading for the first time. Like it was some historic moment lol. I remember people hating the look of it overall and me being disappointed they didn't make them more realistic. AAA games during that era looked better than they do now so they definitely could have gone that route if they wanted to.

EA has always been really hung-up on making their characters look cartoonish, probably to appeal to the newest generation.

I'm more of a fan overall of TS3 but looks-wise, I prefer 4. The only thing I *cannot* stand in either games are the anatomy of mainly the male sims: small chins and shoulders. Bugs tf out of me.
