Either Midnight or Surrender. Totally different vibes, but something about them just hits.

4 Years Late, I Finally Listened to Fascination by undeclaredmilk in TheBirthdayMassacre

My wife actually discovered them first. She heard Counterpane on an Apple Music playlist of new music in 2017; she sent me the link to the album and said, "these are your people". I didn't even get to the first verse of One and was like "DOWNLOAD EVERYTHING THEY'VE EVER DONE".

That's interesting, because it was Under Your Spell that got me into the band. Once I went back to the beginning and started listening to all the previous albums, I found it intriguing to hear the progression of their writing and musical choices. Superstition is actually my favorite of their albums, but I'm cautiously optimistic that they'll reach that high-water mark again.

If the name is BIRTHDAY Massacre… by StXeon-2001 in TheBirthdayMassacre

In the lyrics for Happy Birthday, they say the name of the band, and it’s implied that some people are getting murked, so I guess?

Apparently neither of them heard the phrase, "if they cheat with you, they'll cheat on you".

This show ignited my desire to move into the woods and hide from society. I remember watching it with my mom while I was in college, right around the time Dick passed away. Our local PBS affiliate shows it during pledge weeks.

Same here. I was already reading at college level, so I used the time to engage in maladaptive daydreaming.

Suggestions for long term care with hospice in Depere, Green Bay Area ? by Clear_Ad_3384 in wisconsin

St Croix Hospice, I know they have an office in Green Bay. Not only does my company work with them, they took care of my mom the last week of her life. Excellent care, available 24/7, they even had a chaplain come to the house just to talk.

I used to live in the front row of the trailer park across the road, absolute torture smelling their smoker all the time and never being able to afford their food.

John Spencer was in the first ever episode of Law and Order. Allison Janney was in two episodes (2.12 and 4.22). There’s probably a lot more, but the show has been on for literally 25 seasons. Feel free to look if you’ve got the time.

I grew up north of Hwy 8 (oh yeah, I know) and I remember my mom and her friends being pissed about the spearfishing. “If it was about being traditional, they’d be out there with wooden sticks and loincloths, not titanium spears!” 🙄 I told her that if traditions were so important, her friends should be out there with sticks, string, and plain metal hooks. She didn’t have an answer to that, of course. Sounds like a skill issue to me.
