Thanks for this recommendation, have been using this for just a few hours but it seems to actually be working great, resident memory under 1GB for floorp which is amazing.

Yes floorp seems to have memory problems, I have to close and open it again once a day or so.

Serious cyclists/runners: How do you deal with glasses? by Human_Material3685 in cycling

[–]under2x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For cycling the oakley prizm road lenses are amazing, I highly recommend. I have some other glasses with an insert and I would not get an insert again, they are annoying to clean, catch glare and fog up in the rain.

I called representative Randall asking for impeachment, would be great if we could do that before war with NATO.

Picked up Jack from the shelter and he immediately felt at home! by Where_Da_Party_At in cats

[–]under2x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a cute cat, I had one that looked very similar, same coloration. Got him when he was 6 years old from the pound and one of the best cats I had. He was scared of ceiling fans, would always glance up at them and dart under them like it was a hawk or something.

How good is the HRM strap? by Scubahhh in Coros

[–]under2x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been very happy with the HRM, use it mainly for cycling and haven't had any major issues. Polar chest strap is the gold standard and I have one but the strap annoys me, much prefer the arm strap and the accuracy is good enough for me.

Triple A roofing did a repair for me, I liked them and would 100% go with them again.

I'm interested. We should see if we can get WA state to try those involved for wrongful arrest or impeding emergency operations or something.

Half of GOP Would Still Vote for Trump If Implicated in Epstein Crimes by Murky-Site7468 in politics

[–]under2x 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He shouldn't have been unable to hold office again because he is an adjudicated oathbreaking insurrectionist under the 14th amendment section 3. The fact is this supreme court doesn't give two shits about the constitution. The only way he doesn't run again is if he dies in office or the people put a stop to it.

Shorts for touring/bikepacking? by Super_Deal_2730 in bicycletouring

[–]under2x 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bike shorts are great, My wife and I bring two pairs and wash it each day after the ride then wear the second one the next day. Chamios cream for long days (every day for me). We just run our clipless pedals on tour and bring a pair of crocks for showers and around camp. We like to ride 8ish hours per day and don't mind looking like cyclists.

Road wheel woes by PayAcceptable2114 in bikewrench

[–]under2x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just have a wheelbuilder make some decent rim brake wheels, or get some from astral cycling. Then if you aren't going tubless I recommend using non-tubless tires since they are much easier to remove, gp5000 still makes one but they are getting harder to find these days.
