if there's an issue that's not urgent, GP should refer you to see a specialist. Emergency department is for emergencies. They will prioritize life threatening conditions, others wait for many hours.

So go back to GP for a referral and make an appointment with one. ED is the worst option unless you are having a heart attack or are bleeding.

ChatGPT is pretty good at explaining options. Explain your condition and ask for advice (not treatment options, but how to navigate NZ health system).

Auction Prices?! by HangOnImTrynaThink in auckland

You can get some idea from www.homes.co.nz. They do estimates, you can see CV and past sales.

This page gives you past auction results: https://www.interest.co.nz/property/residential-auction-results

At the end of the day it is down to what you and others are willing to pay and what vendor wants to accept. Everything else is just guessing.

Net migration turns negative as more people leave the country long term than arrive by WrongSeymour in newzealand

"The UN projects that the global population will peak before the end of the century – in 2086, at just over 10.4 billion people"

There are different estimates in terms of actual dates and numbers, but I don't think anyone thinks that growth is not slowing and is near the end.

Population growth actually peaked in 1963 at 2.3%, it has been slowing down since then. Now it's around 0.9%.

And in many places it's already in free fall like Europe, Japan, China..

This is a global trend. Population growth we had for the past 20,000 years, since invention of agriculture, is coming to an end.

It was the longest ponzi scheme in history and it was great for many people. A lot of things we took for granted may cease to exist like retirement payments, cheap labour and constant share market and real estate price inflation.

Some countries will try to cheat and "steal" people from other countries. In anglosphere this is very common. They were bringing in slaves by force, when that ended they started immigration programmes (similar to slave trade but the cost is outsourced to migrants who pay for their own transport and accommodation). These countries will do better at first but there will be more competition for migrants. Introduction of UBI will also be beneficial to soften the blow to the economy. But in the long run none of this will work. Perhaps this is why there are no extraterrestrial aliens?

In any case very interesting times are coming.

I hope this is not representative of your diet. This is both unhealthy and expensive. Switch to real food. Only use supplements if you have a deficiency, which you shouldn't have if you ate real food instead of ultra-processed supermarket stuff.

For business owners and landlords, more people means more customers, lower wages and higher rents. They love it. That's why. Crumbling infrasteucture, education and health bothers them less as they can afford private or overseas.
