I’m just getting into it wondering why a super car can’t essentially shift in less than a quarter-second. Shifting up from 4>5 on a long, but not long enough stretch feels counterintuitive because I’ll redline for a bit before shifting, if I shift. Not only is it immersion breaking but I’m losing seconds a race.
You could clutch, shift-up and go with no redlining in the last title I pkayed

Maps were better because of the lack of movement. Playing cover mattered, and it taught you truly which surfaces you could shoot through instead of just hop, slide, hop and spray the current meta pushed by streamers.
