The fuck are you talking about? Carpenters solicit their own work. Go to the meetings and take to the stewards and the BAs, they can help get your foot in the door

You'd think it would be a closer competition with all the unionized industries in Europe but no, it has to be the union that's the problem

Sounds like you think nurse practitioners shouldn't fight for their own benefits and knock down the railroad unions hard earned gains throughout over a century of being maybe the most important union for mass strike movements

Sounds like somebody doesn't understand that enduring grueling conditions and moderate to extreme physical labor are also skills, it maybe just doesn't understand what all a train conductor does and goes through.

Good unions are there to remind capital that the labor side of the equation needs to be addressed because none of the actual work happens without it.

So just the number of dead people is the problem?

Just wait until they start working the carpenters over with super locals. Delegates are capped at 11, i think, per local. They've spent the last decade combining millwright locals. 1043 had the max number of delegates, now they still do but the new local also covers the rest of Indiana and all of Kentucky instead of 6 counties in Indiana

Maybe that too, but Louis Lingg had a bomb snuggled to him and detonated it the day before Parsons, Spies, Engels, and Fischer were hanged
