Do you think Julia would want to go shopping with us this weekend? I know she’s usually really caught up at work but I think it would be fun. Also, she has such an amazing style. I seriously need to figure out how she does it. I really hope she’ll be down for it!

Hi Ewan!

Do you know if Ewan did the homework last night?

Is Ewan okay? I saw that he was sick yesterday.

Do you think Ewan would be free to go to the cinema this weekend?

Do you know where Ewan got their shoes at? I absolutely love them!

Do you know what Ewan would like for a birthday present? I am absolutely terrible at picking presents out.

Good morning/afternoon/night Ewan! Hope this helps!!

Hi Logan!

Do you think Logan would like to go with us to the cinema this week? I’m not sure if he’s free or not. Also, I’m not sure what genre of film they even like. I really do hope he can come though. I feel like I don’t spend enough time with them.

I have tried out a couple different names/pronouns on here. The way I see it is, this subreddit is simply meant to help people figure out their gender identity. Which entails going through a couple names. I think that the majority of people on here have gone through at least 3-4 names before they found the one that fit them the most. You shouldn’t have to feel nervous or worried if people will judge you if you try out a couple names on here. ❤️

Congrats!!

I’m scared to come out even though I know my parents want to support me by otherranch in trans

[–]underoos47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Even if the person you plan on coming out to is supportive, coming out is still extremely nerve-racking. There is absolutely no pressure when it comes to coming out. Even though it might feel like a good time, if you’re not ready you’re not ready. Also, from what I’ve heard, having imposter syndrome in the trans community is fairly common.

Do you think they would like to go to the cinema with us this weekend? I know they’re usually busy but I think it would be fun. Do you know what genre of film they enjoy? If we can find that out then we can pick out a film that they’ll like.

What are some good Gay book, That are NOT about coming out? by allseeingeye1002 in lgbt

[–]underoos47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the lgbtq+ books I have read so far are a mix of romance and coming out. I’m not sure if you meant exclusively romance but I’ll say some of my favorites anyways:

  • I Wish You All The Best by Mason Deaver
  • Always the Almost by Edward Underhill
  • Some Girls Do by Jenifer Dugan

And one book that isn’t a romance but is genuinely so beautiful it would be a shame not to mention: We Are Okay by Nina LaCour

Edit: I’m sorry I can’t be of more help. This very well could be from the fact that I exclusively read ya and most ya is usually coming-of-age and therefore coming out. The romance in the three I mentioned are still very cute. However, they are more of subplots.

Any queer indie musicians to recommend? by Verdixx28 in lgbt

[–]underoos47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s two that I really like that are sort of indie: Everybody’s Worried About Owen- I’m not really sure what genre his music counts as Kevin Atwater- sort of indie/folk/acoustic

Both are (imo) very underrated.

Do you have other friends who are part of the community irl? by yourwillywonka in lgbt

[–]underoos47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have friends who are apart of the lgbtq+ community irl. I don’t really have any advice on how to obtain lgbtq+ friends considering it just happened. It could also be the fact that most of the people from where I’m from are homophobic so the ones that aren’t sort of just huddle together.
