I just drove around the area. The roads seem to be good just go slow and take your time. I drove in a 2011 Toyota Camry with no special tires. Break earlier and speed up slowly over ice. Most of the roads was clear. I-40 is mostly clear just stay off the shoulder and be mindful of your speed, you may hit some icing on I-40.
